Your feedback has been nothing short of humbling, and it has motivated us to continue developing and enhancing the game. Online leaderboards have arrived for BLOCKIES!

@Ayxs has been busy for you all! A new update is now available for BLOCKIES.

In the newest version of BLOCKIES (version 1.2) an online leaderboard has been added to the game! Relax for a minute or play for hours on end to get the highest score possible and be the best! If you have played the game or are interested in the game. Now it the best time to play BLOCKIES!

Hey everyone! This is the intermission video that will be played in the breaks of the Ludum Dare Score Chasers tournament. It includes gameplay from 44 different games submitted to Ludum Dare, 7 songs from games in Ludum Dare and 1 song from the 1-bit jam.

Candy Catcher also got back to me about being in the video but it was after the video was made so I'm shouting them out here instead.

Try to see how many games you recognize! These are not games that will be played in the tournament (only around 5-7 games will) but these games were some of the games that were popular with people in the tournament.

Overall, we're very happy with how the game turned out. It took some brainstorming to land on an idea we liked, but we ended up with a twist on a classic game.

One of the highlights of the process was getting the CSV-based level importer working. We were able to get from a sketch to a full level very quickly.

It's also cool that people are picking up on and enjoying the hand-drawn elements.

We're working on a post-jam version that should be less clunky and will have some other improvements.
