Last time I went solo was LD 45, I guess those are my lucky numbers, since I just managed to get something done for LD 54 as well.

I had a simple idea that really only ties to the theme loosely, but my main goal was to get anything done at all, and that I did. I'm happy with the result, and I'm convinced it's a pretty bug-free entry. Give it a try! I'd love to get some feedback. :)
Some more game tuning is needed. Hope we find balance in the game!

After a very intense weekend we've (@shad and I :pig: ) have finished! Ta Da! Loot Goblin is here!
Please be sure to check it out! Any insights will be valuable
Curious where you'll end up on the Leaderboard
And Now... Start LOOTIN'!

Limited space... UNLIMITED MACE!

After silently attempting and failing a couple of recent jams, I finally feel like a god of Godot. Unlimited MACE is a horde survival game where you need to carefully manage the space between you and your enemies. It was a struggle getting so many enemies on screen, but after rethinking things, I was even able to get the web browser version running smoothly.
First Game Jam that I ever participated, and first game I ever made to the end. I wish I can make better games on the next Jams. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/gavins-small-backpack

We did it. Propeller Pete is here to espace the tide. But he needs you to build the tallest, prettiest and most unconvential tower.
We appreciate your feedback :)

Can you guess, how the propeller sound has been made?

Woohoo! We finished a game! Come check it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/$371881 The game is an arcade shooter(ish) heavily inspired in art style and comedy by West of Loathing. We decided on the idea based on the inherent comedy of the only connection to the theme "Limited Space" being the line, "Ain't enough room in this town for the both of us." In fact, on our design google doc, that was all I put for the idea in our brainstorming list. Make sure to give it a play if you're interested!

Only three hours left. Game is looking good, but we still got a lot of stuff to do for our cave flight game. Wish us luck!

You are a practitioner of the darkest magic of all: inventory management. A packtitioner, if you will.
Fill your backpack with loot to increase your arcane power. When your pack is heavy with loot, your attacks are lethal, and treasure is worth more.
Go forth and bring ruin to all pots, vases, urns, and other assorted receptacles. For when you bring the world’s end, there will be only one storage solution: THE BAG OF CLICKS.
Made with Godot, with animations in Spine.
Just published my game for Ludum Dare that I made with my friends!
It's basically a build-your-own-platform puzzle-platformer, where you have to carefully decide which tiles should be deconstructed and which should not.

We'd greatly appreciate it if anyone can try out the game and give us their thoughts!
We are very excitting, WE DID IT! You run a Japanese Food Delivey, but the boxes won't fill up on their own!, YOU have to fill them with all pieces the customer ordered, in a limited space of a Bento Box!
Each Piece has its own size and shapes, that you need to reconcile to make the perfect Bento-Box for your customer.

Feel free to try it out, The Ludum Dare Embed mode may have problems to load, but in the game page there is a link to ITCH.IO where you can play: https://gabreu-dev.itch.io/pazaru-packing-sushi

This is my first submission in a while, and I ended up with maybe like 12 total hours to work on it, but I'm pretty happy with the end result all things considered.
Looking forward to playing and rating everyone's games!

*Music, "art", programming, sfx, etc all made by me. Made with Godot Engine

Built "KeyBound: A Journey of Reclamation" with @AKAmaestro for my first Ludum Dare Jam!!
You go on an adventure into the world of your keyboard after it has lost 'Space'. You need to reclaim 'Space' with the 'Limited' keys that still works, in order to fix your keyboard.
Enjoy!

Down but not out. tl;dr game is not gonna be done today, but it will be finished this week. That's fine.
Here's how my "coffee break grand strategy space conquest" game is looking right now:

The hope for today was just to be polishing the game and getting my planned card system into the ship battles. Instead today has mostly been fighting the bugs of pieceing together the the two halves of the game (the map and the battle screen) along with fighting AI bugs.
I descoped a bunch of things for a future wish list but looking where I am now I'm not going to get to a point today where I'm happy for people to play it yet.
I was always going to enter in the Extra cateogry anyway (as I don't like the judging stuff) but I really wanted to be finished in the jam timeline. Now that's not possible I'm going to have to finish up in evenings this week. Though time in evenings is short so it may take until next weekend until I finally release.
Disappointed to have missed the deadline and now have the game drag through the next week. However on the up side there's a ton I like about this game and I can still see myself working on it beyond Ludum Dare.

finishing up 🔥🔥
