Huh.
Well, that's unexpected. Delivery is probably the one I was thinking would get the least votes, but it is something different.
Well, that's unexpected. Delivery is probably the one I was thinking would get the least votes, but it is something different.
it's my first time doing a game jam! All the best everyone and let's deliver some fun :D
delivery??
So LD53 is upon us. Theme being Delivery. Let's see what we can deliver.
Not what I expected.

I can think of a ton of ideas, but trying to think of one that I can do in 48 hrs that is going to stand out is where the challenge always lies, I also still have work to do this weekend, so who knows
I've got one absolutely killer idea that I cannot do on my own, would probably take a decently sizeable team (if you want it, you can have it, I will play it if you do): It is a drone-based organ transplant delivery service, working title could be D (for drone)-Liver-y. The only problem is that the only way for the drone to carry the organs is with a claw machine claw. It would be an I am Bread/I am Fish-style rage game that combines soft-body physics of organs with flight controls of a drone with the infuriating claw mechanics of a claw machine.
i... i dont know man
Title says it all, this is not my first choice of theme, but I feel like it's the theme I'm most likely to finish.
I've started several before but always dropped out, mostly the art is so disappointing I can't go on. I've always tried 2d games before, but am thinking 3d this time. Some sort of futuristic hover car delivery game city builds and a hover car I can probably make a decent attempt in blender.
My other idea is Car to Car delivery on the highway, also with hover cars.
Hey guys, this is my first Ludum Dare. I'm mostly using it as an excuse to get my feet wet with the Unreal Engine, so I probably won't wind up making anything worth a darn, but I'm excited and Looking forward to getting started!
Hi All, I'm Auri! I participated in LD52 last time around and I had a ton of fun livestreaming the whole process, so I'm doing it again. If you're interested in seeing me develop some hellish game realtime over the course of the next few days, please stop by! I'll be pretty much streaming the entire time I'm not asleep.
3am here, now some creative sleep...

TBH, I think it’s a decent theme!
Hiya, this is my first time participating in Ludum Dare properly (i tried once many years ago but wasn't skilled with programming well enough yet). "Delivery" seems like a good theme. Although there are a lot of more creative ways to interpret it (delivery of a baby? delivery of one's words?), I think I'll go for something more straight-forward...
I was so excited about some finalist themes (Cartography, Parasite, Ascend, It spreads, Start small), and ended up interacting with such solid ideas based on these themes, that I don't think I'll be able to let it go this time. I'm going to follow the idea that has been hammering in my head for the last few days.
I briefly dumped my initial ideas into Trello. Starting to think about each of these...
Was a great movie. Hope it inspires some of you. ;)

"To delouse" is to rid (a person or animal) of lice and other parasitic insects, so "to de-liver" means ...
It's my first Ludum trying out the Compo, and I'm not sure what I'm allowed to use, are packages such as the DOTween library for Unity allowed in this format?
