We'are done wih our post jam fixes, you can check our game out here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/mountaineer and wanna rate your games so leave them in comms
A lot of games featuring original music never release a soundtrack, even though the music can be very nice.
Let's show some appreciation for the hard work of composers who participated! Share the links to the soundtracks of your games below!
In Karawan you guide a caravan through the land, trying to flee the world crumbling behind you. You can hire a Magus with incredibly useful spells, for example to flatten hills to make a passage, or create a ford through a river. What was really fun to animate was transpose though, where two tiles switch places. This can help optimize some routes :)

I have a beam, and it needs to get to the finish line. No questions asked. Can you bring it there? Play a little physics puzzle game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/beam

Hello, I made Shards of Me with Fae.

I plan to play some ldjam submissions on stream Friday night sometime after 8PM EST.
Drop the link to your ldjam submission if it's a web game and I'll see if I can play it and review it.

spend a few minutes flying around pretending you're an ethereal being slicing people in half

play now! https://michaell308.itch.io/deathrail

Grind across 3 rails and maintain balance as you zoom through the city.
Main appeal is a fun gameplay loop and nice music. (and cute scarf girl)

minor dev notes: Our team narrowed it down to 2 ideas and we decided with a coin flip. I got the idea that I wanted less, but that idea turned into deathrail, so it all worked out in the end. Also the scarf was only added on a whim really after another team member mentioned it, but it looks cool so I'm not complaining.
(We actually updated the picture this time, hah!)
Hey folks! Back on Wednesday we did our first stream ever showcasing your games, and today, me and @moski will be picking up from where we left off! Come watch us over on Twitch!
We'll begin in about 15 minutes, but meanwhile, you can submit your games through this form! You have to be in chat for us to play your games though! Additionally, if you submitted your game on Wednesday and we didn't get to it, check the queue, and if you appear in chat, you'll have priority!
We didn’t have the opportunity to make a game of our own this time and as a result, we can’t rate your games. However, we'll still be giving you feedback while on stream, so make sure to join us and have some fun! :whale:
We have patched a mesh-button bug that could happen when the player spam the jump action
Thank you for all the feedback. Here are some comments on the future development of this game that we will work when LD149 ends:
We will implemnt some way to tune the volume of the game. We didn't have much time to work on an option menu this jam
In this option menu, it will be possible to adjust the strips and curvature of the CRT filter. I to have kinetosis (motion sickness) and know how this can affect the overall enjoyment of the game
after some discussion, we decided that an exact display of how many orbs are needed to open some door would affect some of our level design. We still want to give the player some idea of he or she can open the door, so we are thinking in add a glowing effect to the door if the player can open it
Anyway, thank you all for the feedback and thank you for reading!
Didn't know you could actually patch your game lol. Some collisions were broken and you could just bhop through the level (it was pretty cool though) and the time it took to extinguish fire and take damage varied according to your FPS. Now it's all working.
(check it out! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/burning-down)

While we're at it,
let's give some of the games that didn't get up to 20 ratings some love!
If all of us get ratings and some feedback,
We together will get to be better game developers.
Learning from each other is the best way to learn afterall.
Other gamedevs are the best play testers that gamedevs can get,
so don't wait, choose some games that have less than 20 rating,
and help them get some feedback.
We only got 13 days left.

Are you good at guessing weights? check it out: https://ldj.am/$266515
We should have a empty queue today so come submit your game!

Hi everyone, give a chance to our Boomsheep game. Tell us your impression on this fast paced experience. And don't forget to show us your work so that we can give you some resonable feedback and rating.

Can't figure out how to save the one on the locker below the vent?

Try it out on your own! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/catastrophy
(now with linux, windows and osx binaries along the web version!)
Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend so far. If anyone is interested here are a few screenshots from our game Tall Order. My sister and I would love to receive a few more reviews to get us out of the danger zone. Feel free to give us feedback about your experience with the game.
