Well on our way
The game might not be fully functional, but we definitely have some satisfying physics going on.

About 2 hours into day 2

Original idea was a drunk fps but that was too motion sick... abandoned that so still working on how to make the work I've already done fit the theme in another way.
Streaming at https://www.twitch.tv/tattomoosa if anyone wants to come say hi

Game Loop completed! Now I got more then 24 hours for polishing and texturing.
The game il quite fun as it is so I don't think I will mess around with the physic. Got a lot of textring, interface, game mode, and online score to do.
What you think of a two player hotseat mode?
It cost me the entire first day but i have a fancy dynamic camera thing going.

It scales to fit all the blocks and focuses on their center of mass. It was not really hard to code - just took a while to decide on the best system for the game and i am also pretty easy to distract from work. Now onto gameplay (the actually fun part i hope).
Good luck to all compo participants - im glad i have a day more than you xD

Game loop is done, time for polishing !
Hey folks, we're making a game that mixes Jenga + sushi restaurant management. You’re a fish waiter delivering sushi to a bunch of frogs. You have to balance a Jenga tower of sushi while doing it.
1. High-Concept from yesterday;

2. Early prototype and concept art from now

Here’s Sushi Jenga’s gamepage so you can save to check the end-result :)
Have a great LD everyone! <3
There's five loops total, with three versions each. I won't spoil the purpose of the different versions. Here's me showing off one of the tracks + another version of it.

I'm going to take a break now.

Small peak of what we have created so far... My boyfriend and me are participating for the first time and developing a game for the first time... I'm doing all of the Art myself and I love the outcome already... Yupp, the UI needs some work as well...

(Excuse the essay, I have an accidental essay-writing problem)
Have been working on a prototype of a simple game where you use your character's rotation in a 2D enviorement to get to the end of ten one-screen levels, only the feet of your character can jump, but the character can spin around easily at the edge of platforms, these rotations either help or hinder you, which should fit with the theme of "unstable".
finished the core mechanics and movement, and should be able to finish the levels tomorow (have made two levels so far), if I finish the levels tommorow around the evening I should be able to make some simple graphics and finaly finish a game, let alone publish it aswel. (graphics are currently just boring old placeholder coloured squares)
Got the layout and most graphics, some placeholder placeholders. Going to do the logic tomorrow, very rusty and much harder than I remember this game development stuff. Definately a jam scenario.
i might just put up a big popup explaning the concept
We like our frogs shaken, not stirred 🐸 (Frogs coming soon, as always we start from the end)

My fighting game where you try to knock over your unstable opponent is coming along nicely:

After a lot of trial and error, I managed to get the player movement system up and runnin'. I wanted to go for a Super Meat Boy feel to it, with some changes.
More updates will come, as I start implementing some chalanges and levels, until then, happy jammin', everybody!

Here's a screenshot from the progress I've had so far!

Hope you are all having fun! Here's my moody WIP.

Hey everyone happy jammin! Let me present you the Totally Stable Docking Simulator

Even tho my recent medical operation hardens it more than usual I am determined to finish until compo ends!
