We made every asset in game using Sprite Shape
It was actually pretty easy to do. Also added some random wiggling.

I do be missing that old Macromedia Flash aesthetics.

SlimeleonHello everyone!
Just wanted to check in and say I've been playing a lot of games and you're all doing a great job! Hope you are all proud of what you have accomplished.
This was my second Ludum Dare and my third ever completed game.
It was my first time working in the Godot engine after prepping for about a week and a half and my first time ever using Aseprite to make pixel art.
I had a great time pushing myself on the jam and hope to participate in more down the road.
While I wasn't fully happy with the results of my game, I am still very proud of setting a goal and exceeding it while learning so much valuable information along the way.
I'm not posting here to ask for ratings since I've already hit the threshold but just wanted to drop a message letting everyone know they did a great job! Keep creating and growing! Such a wide variety of techniques and styles it's very inspiring seeing what others are doing.
Thanks to everyone that has provided feedback and words of encouragement. Even though I still feel I haven't come close to reaching my potential in game creation, I have really been enjoying the road along the way as I slowly improve my skillset. I really appreciate those with the courage to provide critical feedback as it truly does help me find and/or reinforce any weaknesses I still need to work on.
Thank you everyone for giving it your all this past week!
See you next jam!
do you want live feedback of your game? come through to Twitch and say hi!

Y'all always make us feel so guilty when we get 20+ ratings before we've had an opportunity to play games ourselves!
As always, we'll do our best to return the favor to anyone who has spent time on our game, and we're looking forward to getting a solid few playtesting sessions in during our upcoming weekend streams!
Until then, if you haven't had a chance to embrace the entropy, you can try out Split Decision here, and see if you can topple the already contentious leaderboards!
Til' next time! :pointright: :cowboy: :pointright:
Figured people might enjoy seeing the creatures from our game Blood From a Tome rendered out in full Blender Cycles glory, so here they are!

(If you haven't played Blood From a Tome yet, what are you waiting for?)
Wanna see them in action? Check out https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/blood-rite and let us know what you think, what would you like to see in upcoming patches after LudumDare?

Step into the shoes of the Master of the Pack, a creature halfway between a dog and a wolf, who reigns with unquestioned authority over a devoted horde of satanic sheep. Like a general on the battlefield, he leads his troops with keen intelligence, strategically invoking the spells present in your deck. His imposing presence strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies, while his piercing eyes scan the horizon in search of victory. Under his command, the horde advances relentlessly towards battle, ready to unleash hell upon all who dare to stand in their way.

➡️ Discover S.H.E.E.P by playing directly from your browser (⌛ but be patient, it takes a while to load), or by downloading the packs provided.

I'm going to play rate over the weekend. Anyone else make their game with just cubes? I'd like to play them. Drop a link and I will prioritise them. Dice, Voxel and anything cubey. It is the superior 3d shape. Cubecore club for life

Demon Lord Revenge is our first LDJAM game. It's a bullet hell where you play as a demon who has been summoned by magicians. But you are not happy to be here!
We have pushed the game as far as possible in 3 days, implementing a wave system allowing the player to breathe and understand the controls. We had three types of enemies: the simple fireball magicians, the three fireballs magicians, and the rushers to spice things up. We worked on weapons to give the player the maximum chance to win, with a total of 2 basic attacks (distance and melee) and 2 super attacks (distance and melee again).
Additionally, the game integrates a clean menu, win and game over screens, as well as control and tutorial screens. One of the accomplishments of this LDJAM was to have 5 original music compositions created during the weekend to provide the best experience to the player.

At last but not least, the game is controller compatible and we recommend it for the best player experience AND it is HTML5.
So here we are. Yes, DEMON LORD REVENGE is a basic concept: you shoot or swing while running around the enemies. But in the end, it is not such a basic game as we worked hard to give you the best experience we could.
I hope you will enjoy playing our game!
Kisses from France.
I'm sort of happy on how it came out and spend quite some time trying to get it to feel as right as possible.
It would be really wonderful if I'd get some notes on how this could be made better
You can find the game here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/summoners-rift
After some feedback I've updated the game to have all the recipes unlocked at the start and only optional upgrades are now available in the shop that make the game easier if you wish.
Good luck lobbing the fruit :)
(Btw Linux build has some bugs that I can't test/fix that make the game much harder to play - sorry about that :( )

Hey hey, I'm playing your LD games on stream right hecking now! Not that there's any rush of course, it's chill. You can send me your game if you want. I'll ask for your game links when I'm ready, just hang around and we'll get there.

I fixed the WebGL build - it is not perfect but it works. Feel free to check it out :)

For the full experience I still recommend to use the Windows build if possible :)

Let's make a curated list.
I know it's an odd taste, but I like demakes and less serious games.
