Ready to go – I think..
Alright, Let’s do this! I think I’m going to try something new this time around, rather than sticking to my usual engine.
Engine: Phaser.io
IDE: Brackets
Map-Editor: Tiled
Art: Paint.NET
Sound: bfxr
Music: ??

Hi. It’s my first time participating in a ludum dare.
I will be coding in python using pygame and possibly pybrain (depending on the theme).
Good luck to everybody!
The theme?!
I haven’t decided if I’ll be in the compo or jam.
Here are the tools I plan on using:
Man, I’m cutting this post close. Well, hello world, Tim here for his 6th LD! I can’t wait to get this started, it’s been a good while since I’ve worked on a new game. My tools:
My goals for this Ludum (which I recommend everyone write down):
You can follow my progress this weekend on Twitter or on my live stream.
As usual, good luck to everyone, especially the newbies! Without you guys, Ludum Dare wouldn’t be growing nearly as big as it is.
Hello everyone!
i am excited for this first time on LD.
I am going to use:
– Programming Language: Python or kineticjs (I could learn kineticjs today? haha)
– Music: LMMS(maybe)
– Graphics: mtPaint
– OS: Lucid Puppy Linux
It will be interesting xD
so, wish me good luck, i wish good luck everyone.
Hello everyone,
I’m very excited for my very first participation in ludum dare.
I’m using Unity3D and can’t wait to start.
Cheers and happy coding
Hey the usual “I’m in” post.
As usual, Construct2, Reason, Audacity, bfxr, GIMP, my regular toolset.
Waiting for the theme, possibly for the compo, or maybe for the jam, according to the time and the idea I’ll go for.
Good luck every one and have fun.
I’m in.
I’ll be using javascript. Assuming I use canvas, I’ll be using a toolkit I’ve named crtrdg.js.
But I’d really like to make a multiplayer text adventure for the browser. Assuming that works with the theme, that’s what I’ll be doing.
Here’s my starter repo: github.com/sethvincent/ludum-dare-28
I’ll be game jamming with some awesome friends this weekend, and might end up making something that’s a valid Ludum Dare entry. If I do, it will likely be with my regular tool-set – programming on top of HaxePunk (in FlashDevelop), bad art with Paint.NET and ‘that’ll do’ sounds from BFXR. Or I might end up doing something else. I don’t know!
This contest’s ‘song I’ll jam to’ will be, oh, let’s say an Enya song just because. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKQwgpaLR6o
Finished the Space Invaders fighter ship for the player, the Sandal:

Based upon the Soviet MiG-105 Lapot, this will be the player’s vehicle for Chapter 4. I’m presently working on the player’s barricade. After that, I’ll have to create the alien spacecraft, which should be a far easier process.
After that, I’ll begin work on the actual level, so I can see a playable prototype before the end of hour 6.
Gday everyone. Or good evening to others.
today is my second LD and im pumped 😛 i have more than a 2 hour slot to create my game and hope to try out the jam first to be able to create a game under a good amount of time. Here are some of the tools ill be using:
Obs – streaming
Photoshop
unity3d
Cinema 4d and ZSculpt
youtube – mr suicide sheeps mixes
you can find my stream on twitch: aldian1
So good luck everyone! And have fun (:
I just now was able to get my Super-Play order (Thanks for support from the creator, BTW) but now I only have about 2 hours until the competition starts. Hopefully I can learn a good chunk of it before it begins.
Well, I’m either going to fail immensely on all levels, or make a pretty good game. Either way, it’s shaping up to be a fun weekend. I am planning on using Java, and my open source engine Remote2D. You can check that engine out at http://github.com/flafla2/Remote2D
Hey,
I’m in as well again. Last LD I was pretty unsatisfied with my result as it wasn’t really finished, but this LD I aim to make a nifty game that I actually really polish towards the end. My stuff:
Engine: Unity,
Language: C#,
Graphics: Gimp (and maybe Blender if I actually manage to make some non-block models this time)
Sound: FruityLoops
Looking forward to the contest and good luck all!

Just found I have some pizza rolls, this LD WILL be the LD of the pizza rolls. Good luck guys.
This is gonna be my third time participating alone in a ludum dare and my fourth overall.
I will be using Canvapps (https://www.canvapps.com) as a programming framework and HTML5 as programming language.
As the framework I will be using is still closed to the public I will be joining the jam.
Final words: Do not expect a fancy game, pretty graphics or nice sound effects. However do look forward to a game concept that will blow your mind.
For my C/SDL game, I will use this boilerplate code (link). It uses the POSIX function access(2) so it may not compile on Windows computers. Sorry!
Hopefully someone will find this useful.
