I’m In

Been a while since I’ve done a Ludum Dare. It’s time to get back on the horse. However, depending on the theme (and any ideas I actually manage to have), I’ll either create something new in a Compo submission or continue my current prototype project either as a Jam submission or just using the time to try awesome things.

So here goes this Compo/Jam Submission/Non-Submission thing!

I’m in!

Using Unity as my game engine, Audacity for audio, Oculus Rift and Leap Motion as devices. Virtual reality game. Windows is target platform. I’ll be doing the Jam and will use free assets from TF3DM, Turbosquid, Sketchup Warehouse, Unity Asset Store, and wherever else I can find what I need. :) Have fun everybody and good luck! By the way I’ll be doing the Jam not the competition.

Old Tricks for Old Dogs

I’d considered trying out a stable build of LWJGL 3, but I feel a cold starting to drag me down a bit, so I think I’ll just stick with what I’m comfortable with.  I threw the basic example code from the wiki for LWJGL 2.9.1 into a new project to set up the git repository, so I should be ready to rock.  At least, assuming I can pull any ideas out of my brainmeats this time, which didn’t work out so well last time, where I didn’t write a single line of code!  But LD29 before that was great, as was Mini-LD52.  So hopefully this one will get me back on the Ludum Dare track!

INNESS

Hi everybody !

We’re in once again (7th time already ?!) for the LD compo !

As always I will be sharing space, food and drinks with my good friends AnnaGavaldaKedavra, Simon and Marcellus in a ghastly mansion lost in the far suburbs of Paris.

We decided this session to spice things up by adding a few more constraints to this jam.

We’re going to randomly pick a genre, display and control restriction from a selected pool and mix them with the main LD theme.

We’ll tell you soon what came out and if you feel like it, we’d really enjoy to share this experience with you!

Good luck to all,

Cheers !

I am in for yet another Ludum Dare! 😀

I’m going to be developing a 2D game using Java and the Ijen framework. Sfxr and Audacity will be used for sounds. Paint.NET will likely be used for all images.

Tools:

IntelliJ IDEA 14.0.1

Ijen framework

Paint.NET

Sfxr

Audacity

Git / Github

BlackCode Studio is in. As always.

bcs_invert

Wow. BlackCode Studio, the creators of Kamil the Cat series, Cases, Seminecata, Altrein’s Portal, Simplified and few other games is in. Yup, I know, that’s unbelievable.

So the team looks almost exactly as always:

  • Programming – Maciej “Macron” Ziółkowski, Kacper “kacperski1” Herchel
  • Graphics – Kacper “kacperski1” Herchel
  • Sound – everyone
  • Music – Grzegorz “zabujca405” Bąkowski (maybe)

And the software and other things that we’ll be using:

  • Ultra-fast NASA-like computers with Windows 7 and Windows 10 TP running,
  • The most powerful 2D game creating combination – C++ with SFML 2.1,
  • Code::Blocks as IDE,
  • Inkscape, Photoshop, Gimp and Anime Studio for graphics,
  • Audacity for sounds,
  • AIMP3 as the best possible music player. And some music of course.

Yeah, that’s pretty much all. Have fun everybody!

I’m In!

I am in for my third Ludum Dare 31!  This means I’ve done every Ludum Dare compo in 2014 and I can’t wait to do more.  Check out my entries for Beneath the Surface and Connected Worlds.

It will be a weird weekend.  I have Christmas photos scheduled with my wife and kids tomorrow and my sister will be visiting from Colorado all weekend, so who knows how much time I will have to actually make a game.

My stuff:

-Notepad++

Phaser

-mspaint.exe & The Gimp

-I’ll probably end up using some sort of open source sound/music generator, but I haven’t decided which

-Tiled

-Chrome

Good luck to everyone and have fun!  I can’t wait to get started!

I’m in with some functional reactive programming

Giving Elm a try for this LD, a completely different paradigm from what I’m used to but functional reactive programming seems very cool in my experiments so far.

Take a look at http://elm-lang.org and http://debug.elm-lang.org/edit/Mario.elm for some time travelling debugging!

I think you’re the first Elm entry I’ve seen, but there are two or three Haskell entrants, me included. Functional programming represent!

We’re in!

Unity 4.6! Web player time!

OKAY THEN

I’m placing all my bets on ⛄jam.

Gonna be using Lua with Love2D, probably doing the typing with Sublime Text and Vim. Letsss gooooooooo

I’m likely in.

As usual, GIMP, Construct 2, Reason and hopefully, with inspiration, I should have a game by the deadling of either compo or jam.

Good luck all 😀

I am in :D

This ludum dare I am working on my own, most likely. I am very excited about it…

I will make sure I share all documentation, including inception document, design document, and post-mortem…

😉

Good luck everyone, and have fun :)
