We’re In!

I’ll be entering the Jam this time around, with my good friends Ivano Palmentieri of SomePX and DJWildebeest. Ivano will be the head of our GFX department and DJWildebeest will be on sound design. My job is animating characters and actually assembling the game :)

We’ll be putting the game together in Multimedia Fusion 2, sounds will likely be generated with SFXR or a mix of softsynths/effects in Ableton. Ivano will be making graphics with… a computer? not sure… and they will probably be animated directly within MMF2.

This will be my fifth Ludum Dare personally and I am very excited!

I m’ in !

I wish you a great LD and hope the theme will be a bit more intresting than this snow thingy.

You made the 3000th “I’m In” post since the beginning of Ludum Dare! 😀

Im in

Worked late just so I wouldn’t have to give up the weekend, hope the theme doesn’t suck lol

what am I using, no clue, depends on the theme, and what pops into my brain, if both are simple Im going to try another Apple II game, though those never ever pan out for me in LD, if its something thats complex enough I dont want to deal with in basic, then it will be windows + EGSL (lua + sdl)

both will use gimp for graphics and notepad ++ for editing

bfxr and bosca for pc sound, beeps n bloops for A2 sound

enough of that though, LETS DO THIS woot WOOT

COMPO IN!

Holiday time means Ludum Dare time for ol’ Brian at Steamburger Studios. After having such an amazing go at LD28, there’s no way I could resist doing it again this year!

This year I’ve been working knee-deep on a fully 3D FPS in unity, so I’m pretty sure I want to go 2D for the Dare.

With that in mind I’m probably gonna stick with the basics of:

Unity 4.6 + Adobe CC + SFXR + FL Studio 11

I’ll try not depress everyone with the mood of my entry again this year. Ho ho ho… ☃

I’m in (revised!)

I originally posted a few days ago that I was doing the Jam with some ruby based technologies…but now I guess based on my own constraints I fall into the compo category! (And I also changed some of my tech choices)

Engine: Three.js

Graphics: GIMP

Audio: something..

I’m In

I’m in for my first Ludum Dare! Going to try going solo in the Jam this time around.

Tools

Engine: Unity with C#

Art: GraphicsGale/Maya, Paint.net

Sound: Bfxer and Audacity

We’re in.

Will be doing something simple for the Jam with a friend this weekend, to take the edge off winter and get some practice. Will be intentionally unambitious though.

Platform will probably be Javascript/HTML5, for personal familiarity and ease of publishing.

Totes In!

My wonderful wife Kristin and I will be participating in Ludum Dare as a team. She’ll be handling art and design and I’ll be focusing on the code. No definite plans for tools yet, but it looks like she’ll mostly be using Adobe Illustrator and I’ll either be using Unity or Brackets as an IDE with rendering via PixiJS.

Good luck everyone! #snowmanjam

Last minute bimap font

Almost forgot, I should probably say this here…

Since fonts are allowed, even on the compo, I’ll be using a bitmap font I’ve done some time ago. It’s based on the font used by Flixel.

Imma Do This

Imma do this reeeel gud.   First Ludum Dare, first jam in general.  It’s a bucket list item of mine, time to check it off!

Tools;

Game Maker Studio 1.4

LMMS  0.4.13

SFXR

Paint.Net

I’m in this jammmm

The only other LD I participated in was #26, and it was fun fun fun. I did the compo previously, but this time around I’m going to stop being a lone wolf and jam with my buds! :)

We’re going to be streaming from our location at the Tech Valley Game Space in Troy, NY. Check us out and say howdy if you get a chance: http://www.twitch.tv/techvalleygamespace

I am IN!

The timing couldn’t be better as the weather is shaping up to be pretty miserable in Philly this weekend.

Using Unity3d, Pickle Editor + Paint.NET, and Audacity for audio.

Time to curl up by the fire and make some games!

First timer

I can’t say I’m unexperienced making games, but I’ve never been to game Jams, so this kind of event will be something really different to me.

Here’s my setup:
-Unity 4 (maybe with NGUI plugin)
-Photoshop CS6

I’ll be coding on C# and I have no idea what my art will look like, hahaha.

i’m in!

I’m in!!! This will be my fist LD!

– Photoshop
– Pro Motion
– Unity (C#) / MonoDevelop
– FamiTracker (maybe)

Good luck everyone! 😀

Givin it a shot

I don’t know if this is frowned on, gonna target android as platform though. First timer.

Eclipse, Java, openGLes 2.0, possibly some third party libraries depending on concept.

art: gimp

sound: ill worry about it if I get there.

Good luck everyone! (I know I need it)
