Well, this is turning out to be somewhat of an art game, but I think that it’s going to be a good discovery game nonetheless. All I have left is the last level, a title screen , and then… umm…

I’ve been considering adding enemies. Then, once you beat the game you could re-play with a more powerful character.

With the deadline less than 3 hours away, I’m slightly feeling the panic. Although I don’t have much left to do, I got making the world, and that one is big.

I’ve been taking a break from work, and thought I might throw a bit of my jam game out.

No demo yet (Nothing worth playing, actually), but I do have a picture of the main character.

The idea was that the player would have to discover attack combos to get a better score, however I didn’t have enough time to animate enough attacks to warrant this.  So the thematic portion relies on the story more now.

Controls are A, S and D for attacks.  See how high of a score you can get!

As a first timer in LD, wish I was better prepared. I’ve done mini games in the past that have taken less than a day to complete, but I think my expectations for this competition were to high. Although it was a good experience for me and I think at least I have the beginnings of what can become a good game.  I’ll probably will stick around for other LDs. Since I agreed not to call it probe, I named it after the only other character: Mothership!

Truth to be told, my game follows the theme very VERY little, but I had fun!

I didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted to . There is no way have something playable by the end of the compo, so I’m taking the extra day and I’ll put something together for the jam deadline.

Phew! It’s getting quite late and I have to say the game turned out to be more fun than I thought. It doesn’t follow the theme strictly, but it reveals more levels as you progress so I guess it’s discovery

The game is about an alien therapist killing traumas in patients heads, synced with some music ofcourse.

It’s only for Windows at the moment, I’ll try to port it to other platforms as well in the future.

I didn’t get to finish my game, due to some unforeseen/foreseen errands I had to do. Oh well, I better start writing a game engine for the next compo, that should make it easier.

Dunno how much I will able to do before time expires… 2hs left, and I am a little bored/tired. I will take a bath and see if I can do anything more, else I will upload the entry.

Our work on our Jam entry continues. There are many enemy airships present, and some clouds.  Game is looking decent and is fun to play, but way too hard.

So I started going through everyone’s submissions and I’m feeling really lame about mine. You guys are pretty freaking creative and artistic. Well done! Keep them coming!

Well here it is, guys. It’s my LD19 entry. I basically just gave up and released it as is BUT AT LEAST IT’S RELEASED. No known major bugs.
