The Arena
I spent all day working on the arena yesterday. We can now spawn hexagonal and rectangular maps, or use our own custom map. We're also able to spawn and drop blocks with a certain index.

Slept in this morning. Having breakfast now and watching some of you streaming on twitch!

Here is the picture of yesterday’s progress. I’ve got so many things to do still! And it did not help that I oversleeped 2 hours. Wish me luck!
Me and @Mieeh 's development is coming along nicely.!!
Today we'll be tweaking the controls in order to make them all more fluid! We'll also be making more levels.
Don't forget to eat and sleep, cheers and good luck all!

So it's already moved on, but might as well post last night's progress update gif :)

Today's progress: have started adding more things to talk to. Few of them answer back. I've also changed the art style to an art style. It's not a good one, but I can't draw worth a damn anyway, so it was never going to look good. Pleased with how it's working at least, and got in another few hours of sleep, so I feel nice and awake to come up with puzzles today.
Started 12 hours after start and way behind. The game will be about the plight about hatchling turtles in Barbados being attracted by the night lights across the road - think froggerish. This is progress so far yellow circles = turtles other rectangles = vehicles. Turtle hits vehicle and dies, click on turtle and it turns around to the beach (may still die)
And we're on to day #2! Yay for image upload, this is what makes the compo for me, lots of neat designs and ideas to ogle.
I added a winning condition, fixed a collision-stuck-in-wall-bug when growing and added 4 stages.

I drank an energy drink nearly right before bed time yesterday... Well guess who doesn't feel well rested :| Seems like this will be a day with even more caffeine! Cheers.
Good morning folks,
in Germany day 2 begins. I just forgot to cover the idea of our game. It is something like Crazy Taxi in a small town. In addition the town is in fact the planet :) You can cruise through the town for some time, waiting for a new passenger. Pick him up, listen to his wish and take him there. The faster you are, the more happy he is, the more money you'll get. If the passenger is extremely unhappy with your service, the game ends. These are the core features. Although it's a small world and you should be able to remember the "special" places, it is not easy to navigate on a planet
Optional features are: - Customize your car - Upgrade your car with the money you've earned - Day night cycle - Conversations with the passengers, answer questions in order to get the passenger more or less happy  - Traffic
Yesterday we build a very simple planet, driving physics and a smooth camera (almost top down, but you can see a lot of the planet in order to compensate motion sickness). Gameplay mechanics are already implemented.
So far, so good. Today we (my wife and me) got a lot of art to do - and to improve the driving physics (wheelcolliders seems to be broken in Unity 5 since some time...). We will post screenshots during the evening.

Mix n Match creature care simulator is sorta a go. Still have a lot of art to go, even just placeholder art. Need proper death indication Already hating the pacing, so I may scale it back to a very small area if the creature is mobile Yes, some creatures may not be mobile Some might not be able to survive either
Tomorrow's goal is the last of the placeholder art, and then the dna mixing sequence. The logic for that will be dead simple...I hope.
Just looking at that creature hurts my brain.

Now it's kind of fun to toy with. Of course, still no game yet, and still using derpy prototype art guy. But it's coming along! 17 hours to go...
I want to give up. My game is a crap. It has no good gameplay, no good graphics and no good level design and propably it is bad coded.

So in our game, you're controlling one of Dr Plutonium Boxbots to protect Pluto from asteroids while collecting Plutonia to increase the celestial dwarf's mass. We're still in the middle of adding art assets and preparing the tutorial; hopefully we'll get dis dun
We have a working game with most the mechanics built.

Tomorrow we will finish up the last few mechanics and then its up to polishing the art, and adding content! Goodnight all and best of luck!

Got the player character attacking enemies, and end game state when you lose all health, and a winning state by defeating all of the enemies.

a late in, game is finished

Here’s a quick gif of the team’s progress for the first day. We’re pretty happy with what we got in place today but there’s lots more to do tomorrow and Monday!
