Hello, just want to say sorry for not being able to play more games and rate them, being very busy with college lately!
I already got 20 ratings, and so far very happy with the feedback, so, if you like retro platformers, NES style gaimz, and die a lot from bad level design with a bunch of blind jumps, then give my entry a shot. x)

On a different note, I have been working some more on the post-jam version of Planet Bash. I've added meteorites, harder rockets, enemies can crash into each other, slow-motion mode, party-time mode, if you die you get a chance to revive by getting the pieces back together and more. There are a lot of extra features that are still to be added, but I can feel the difference in versions now.

This is my last post for this Ludum Dare edition and I would like to share some advice with you, either you are a newcomer or not.
---1. Prepare your tools ahead of time--- Make sure all your team has the software and pre-production tools (even if it's just paper and pencils) they need before the start of the event. We struggled a little at the beginning to get the graphic assets done because some of the team members did not have Photoshop or Illustrator in their laptops.
---2. Think out of the box--- I know this phrase is getting old these days, but every time a game jam (or any other creative project) comes on, at the first moments everyone has pretty much the same ideas, which explains why in this edition many people came up with games about small planets and ants (I include myself in the latter). You get far more theme points when your game conveys the theme with the least obvious solutions.
---3.Food--- I read a post where a team said they had filled their fridge so they would get no problems when it came to feeding during the event, and at some point I thought "gee, we should have done that too"; because many of us started arguing with our bellies and having creative blocks

Seagazer - The mood in this one os through the roof for me.
Neuroso - Humour? Check. Clever gameplay? Check.
50ft by 50ft (or How I Died In Space) - Great vibe in a very interesting take on text adventure.
The Deep - I love the mechanics and the mood of this one.
Pity About Earth - Plays really well, and soundtrack deserves a freakin' oscar.
To Do List - Don't judge a book by its cover.
Rashlander - You think Dark Souls is hard? Think again.
Land Of The Sun - It made me feel like I was playing Journey / Shadow of Colossus mashup :D
Plonat Atek - Did you know one of the first video games was made for an oscilloscope? Well, they did it again. And how!
Techium Eclipse - you know Kenney (a.k.a. Asset Jesus) from making thousands of free assets for developers struggling with graphics. Well, here's Kenney's game with only 19 ratings... Come on now :)
A Small World Cup - I found it simply hilarious :D
Planet Bash - awesome gameplay!
And I assure you, they're all well worth your time.

I decided to track the voting process, and make some graphs. This is surprisingly easy to do, with google app scripts and this sites api. It hasn't been running long so there isn't any interesting trends too see yet but the bar and pie charts still look good.
It seems that there is only two days left for rating. I don't expect to reach the requirement. But I did have a good time making a game in 72 hours. And I wanted to thank you as a community for letting this even happen.
