My first solo Ludum Dare
I'm in! I think? All of my usual team are out for the holidays so I thought I'd try something a little different. Going to making a solo VR game in 72 hours. Wish me luck!

I refuse to make a little-planet game :)
My game will be a non-violent game in a tiny forest on a tiny island, with tiny-tiny animals :bear: :fox: :frog: :rabbit: :hamster: :bird: together on a quest.
My tools will be:
I will do the jam, as I do not want to do the library code from scratch. (I will do new shaders, models, textures, and sounds and game code)

ALL input methods are beautiful
I am trying to make a game inspired by "CATAN" or "CIV". After day one you can look around a nice small world, you can click the hexagon tiles, and there is some nice peaceful minecrafty music.

Small Golf is a little mini golfing game. I made this cool effect when you complete a hole that makes it look like the next hole is actually contained inside the ball: https://twitter.com/andrfw_games/status/855694150225715200
I went for this 2 color minimalist aesthetic because I've always loved crappy 2012 iPhone games
First time doing any kind of jam, some pre-existing art.

Using UFPS for the weapons, but cutting it down to just the gun system because this games a third person shooter.
'Cause of time zones and stuff I just woke up. This theme seems pretty interesting. I've already got a few ideas for it.
Renders a map and plays music - that's it!

Working on the game already, forgot to "in myself" :) GL to everyone!
First of all, we are in! We are a two-person team going for creating an ambient game set on a small, small island. Will you figure out what is going on there? Only if you survive long enough...
We are planning to mix together freely available ambience sound (sea crashing against shores, fire crackling, bird chirping) into a dynamic sound scape where different sounds come and go, and varies with location and actions of player (Saturday morning is the time for grand visions).
We are not 100% certain on what is classified as 'derivative work' though. Specifically, we are looking at the following line in the rules:
"Texture masks, brushes, drums, loops, sampled instruments, and similar assets are allowed, but only if they are used to create a derivative work. i.e. a Song, a complex soundscape, a unique piece of artwork, etc. See below."
Any input on this? Do you think we participate in the 'Audio' category under these conditions?
And last of all, good luck with the jam, to all of you :)
Well... How could I resist entering the 15th anniversary of Ludum Dare. Of course I'm in! And I actually might even have an idea already :-)
My 8th Ludum Dare. Good Luck everyone!
Hey guys! I thought it would be nice to release a small prerelease of what I made so far. This is nothing special, since I've only been working on it for 2 and a half hours, and there's no gameplay yet, but maybe you can leave some thoughts :)

Alright, all woke up and ready for seconds! This time I'm gonna try updating the progress a little better when I can, since I'm still simply too scared to just put up a live stream going and endure the chaos that might ensue.
Team:Time to get some coffee. Good luck everyone!
