Painting!
If you hear a voice inside you that says you can not paint, Paint! And that voice will be silent

It’s the 15th anniversary of Ludum Dare, and our 15th Ludum Dare in a row… coincidence? Yes. (Already posted over on the old site, but wanted to test the new one so sorry about the double post)
Anyway we’re in for the jam! I’m away until Monday, so will be handing the programming over to @AdamD this time, and I will spend the last day writing music and making sound effects. As usual art will come from @Failedstarfish.
As we’ll have slightly reduced time over the weekend, the plan was to go for something simple. We’re going to do a game that involves small planets, which we know everyone else is doing too, we don’t mind too much this time around. We’re going to try and differentiate it a bit with our art style, and make it a more art/animation based focused on exploration.
You will travel between different colourful solar systems and each planet will have something like an animation/puzzle to play with and explore. The aim is to find a small world you can call your own, we’re going for a peaceful, colourful vibe like our previous entries From the Sea and Miyu.
Hello World. Elephant is sun bathing along its mud pool

We are making a game about dog social life. My friend @emtastik is making graphics and I am programming the game using the MonoGame framework.
Just created a placeholder grass tile and drew it on the screen.
We started late, but at least we've got something to look at now! I'm working on making a rotating small planet for the player to walk around. NegitiveZero is working on impossible, non-eculdian spaces. Tesrym is making our models for stuff
By now I have the camera movement and the click and drag of the game objects working.
Time for my second Ludum Dare. Lets see how this goes!
Edit: Terribly, every idea falls flat on implementation. I'm giving up.

Super quick update! I did very terrible prototypes of a couple ideas without much luck. Eventually, they sort of morphed into this spaceflight game. You travel between tiny planets doing… something, I'm sure!
Making a game where you create snow globes, just started working on the menu.

This is my first time!
If i do complete this it will be my second LD. I'm maybe thinking of doing something with a 3d printer printing a tiny world, possibly VR.
I think I got a cracker of an idea for this theme
We are in and ready for business. This will be our 6th time in a row participating in this grand event.
But just a tiny one. I'll put a couple of hours in.
Got a good night's sleep. Time to dev it up.
Finally ready to start. I am streaming the progress on twitch.tv/raptorgsus! 35 hours should be more than enough realize my idea. See you there!
Yet another prerelease! I've added a dragon which is gonna be the 'boss' in the game. Play it here: http://thewgbbroz.nl/ld38/ Can you let me know if the sound works? And if it doesn't which browser are you using? Thanks :D
Watch me making the game at Twitch! https://www.twitch.tv/thewgbbroz
Let's do this thing.
Using LibGDX, Intelij community, krita, tiled and whatever else I can find, I'm gonna make a platformer with some sort of narrative maybe, I've never done one of those! I'm re-using some of my resource management code from my last project 'cos no-one likes typing that stuff in over and over again, it's all here: https://bitbucket.org/CiderPunk/spacecourier
