We're not done with our first day!
We worked a lot today! I hope that we will keep doing great!

Everything going smooth, with the game at least, because i don't have much time (Come on family, why THIS weekend?!). Any way, big chances i will be able to finish at third day (Again, thanks family!).

Soon... 🐱👤
Art is not yet available 😄
I have spend way more time with these tiles than I should have, and still they don't look good. Gotta fix those tiling issues.

Also a low-fps gif.

... and now seing your sneak peeks - needless to say .. unsure of own efforts and all that.. but will check the water temperature ;) Have a good second day when you get to it.. And yeah - guess I took the theme really literal
Hmmm pictures go missing .....
And the sketch

Ingame-ish

Spent until 1:30am last night making sure this looks somewhat decent.
A shuttle launch I will be adding as a cut scene. I need to come up with an alternative name for all these rockets... hmm...
A sketch of a Proton rocket I made, I need to come up with a name for this one as well.
Same story for this Ariane 5 rocket. I'm hoping to add more cut scenes if I have time.
The orbital map visible from station view.
I will be posting more updates when they happen!

How can you guys write title so long with this broken system because I have to click and quickly follow up with a letter for one letter in my title
Anyways I have completed gameplay mechanics now onto the art at 2:30pm what a day (so far)

So far finding myself getting around the INK syntax. It's surprisingly powerful.

The basic mechanic of "Sacrifices Must Be Maids" is that you can sacrifice two cards of the same type and level from your hand to take a card of the same type and one higher level from the board. Higher card levels will be worth more points at the end of the game.

Restrictions are such fun things. I think this might actually be the first time I've actually taken a photo on my phone and put it into a game, but... it works! With that in mind, behold my aesthetic:

Mmm... tastes like the nineties.
But we get ahead of ourselves! "Finding the Lamb" is a game in which you, as the leader of a cult, must prevent the apocalypse by identifying which of your followers is The Lamb, and offering their immortal spirit in exchange for the safety of humanity as a whole (i.e.: murdering them, but with legitimacy). After all, sacrifices must be made.
The inner workings of the game - generating the cult's members and the clues that will lead you to The Lamb - are pretty much all in place; but the nature of a game like this means that presentation is a huge part of how enjoyable it is. And the lack of time means I need to stray from my pixel-art comfort zone, so hopefully the end result won't look too much like it belongs on a Sega CD disc.
Elf lives vs. childrens happyness.

I'm taking the theme quite literally this time around

Good progress for today. Still no idea how this thing is called.

Most of the mechanics are in. Need to figure out when to spawn what. Still need to do all the art
What's here: you're the red overlord and can't attack. Green guys are your minions that you sacrifice. Blue guys are melee enemies. Pink guy is ranged enemy. Teal things falling from sky are spawners.
Come follow along! https://www.twitch.tv/frenchie144

But at least I have done some "art"
