Hey People!

Two part post: 1) I want to join other people 2) Do you also want to join other people?

1) Ok so I've posted a couple of times that I looking for somewhere to do the dare next weekend, so if you know of anywhere to do the dare (real world gatherings) In England pretty much anywhere on the TFL transport network I would love to hear about it!

2) If you're also looking for somewhere to do the Dare, let me know! If enough people are looking, we can make it happen!

Finally got the slaughtering done! Hope some of these make it through because some of them are really good and sparked ideas in my head as soon as I saw them!

Themes Slaughtered

I worked through them all, and I have to say it would have been nice if the dupes had been removed, and the ones containing spelling errors, and the other garbage - in short: moderation, even an automated scheme, would have reduced over 3000 "theme ideas" to about 300 real ones.

I feel like I should post a picture of my setup so here it is image.jpg Anyways, I don't have any source control set up yet, so that is my focus right now. I have never done source control, so it will be a new experience.

Of course I will be using Git in conjunction with either Github or Web Hosting, but probably Github. Other than that, I will be playing some videogames.

Cleared my schedule for the weekend! Using the same retro-pixel lib I used for JS13K entry Greeble and Rotoblaster, even if I don't get a game out, hoping to refine the library a bit before js13k this year. :)

I guess compared to many, I was lenient. Just got rid of what didn't spark any ideas or would leave out whole sections of creators/types of games. Or leave everyone making the same two games. Or is just common sense, not a prompt.

Fine time to ask, but how exactly does this work? I'm guessing each theme suggestion gets a percentage score for the Y/N votes. But since many people were eliminating duplicates/similar ideas, that means the popular/timely "great minds think alike" groups of themes have almost no chance of any individual making it to the next stage. Is that a good thing?
