Placeholders for the win.
I had to start over, cos my game sucked. I'm glad I did, cos I'm doing much better now!
Woke up 7 hours in to the jam here in Sweden had got an idea from the night before where i looked at the theme then went to bed. Now me and my friend are doing a bunch of progress. So the idea is that you are a security manager during a zombie apocalypse. you have four turrets with power cords but only three outlets (it gets super stressful when it comes a lot of them. here is gif
I've got myself a main character!

Yep, we have all the concepts thought out, basic mechanics implemented. Time for some real action!
How is your development process going?'
(Yeah, about that name... I have a mind of a 9 yo).
Instead of dots on my dice, I will use casino fruit.

I forgot about ludum dare yesterday and it is my first time. What should I do?
Already have the design and most of the mechanics ready in the document, the only thing left to do is actually make it!

After passing the mourning of our companion, we decided to sleep and wake up with new ideas and strength. We managed to make the arena for Our game of Death DodgeBall, where every ball has a superpower to modify the arena and Run out Space! Aside from the arena, we started making the characters and the throw ball mechanic. STILL A LOT TO GO and cut stuff!
time and still have no idea to implement. Ahhhhhhrrr.

how are you guys doing when it comes to your schedule? ahead? behind? spot on? for me its going really good at the moment, basic engine is done, the goo is spreading :) shader based rendering and therefore easy colorswapping, thinking about swapping the palette with each shot the player fires. next up is actually rendering my laser beam (duh) and then probably scoring system or sounds. Back to the grind.!
I've come up against a wall :c Does anyone know any classic game ideas where you're running out of space besides Tetris?
Now with 100% more cows

Wew, hope this works. Threw away a load of ideas to go with a very basic style and something I've always liked; mechanics that you work out yourself without instruction.
