What happens when you give a warehouse robot a grappling hook? Pt. 2

I'm kind of regretting the visual style I ended up choosing for this, but, it's kind of late to change things now. Oh well, gotta roll.
Finally starting. Couldn't think of any ideas while doing other stuff, so I'll make a satirical game. Gonna go back to Haxeflixel after years of not touching it. This will be my 7th LD!
There is a very good chance that I'll finish my game in the next 5-6 hours. So I want to know if I can create another game and submit them as well.
So how can I submit two different games for the same LD?
I've created a few enemies and the reason you should think twice before moving.

I can't believe my main mechanic is already done! I'm so proud that I finally came up with a simple concept that can be applied in so many different ways. So I'm feeling damn elated! (Bit of a contrast from my last two posts I know).
As you can see in the GIF I've now started playing around with different ways to apply my fancy mechanic into different level designs. Good Luck Everyone!
I will try to take part in Compo.
Here is the first screenshot of my start.
Try to clean the ink and avoid drowning.

Hey guys, I hope all of your game's are going well.
Mine is, I've got the baseline code done (probably doesn't seem like much to you guys but I haven't been making games for long). I really do think i'll finish and have a decent game to show.
My plans for the future include me working on the game for maybe another month or two after LD and then putting it up for sale so i can learn about the mechanics of selling a game and marketing and whatnot.

so I got a few demo builds of my game out I really want to know how I can improve https://9tictac.itch.io/hacker-simulator

Now let's let the player personalize each little cube (Also : i swear I used the theme)
We have the physics of the game, more than anything else :(

I dont really like the theme so i decided to just have some fun with unity. And ended up making some kind of survival-rpg.
So yeah....
We'll make a top down multiplayer shooter, where bullets make holes in the floor! Bullets will move slowly so they will be easy to avoid... until you run out of space due to flying projectiles and holes everywhere. Don't worry, there will be AIs ;-) And hopefully powerups, guns, pixel collision, a dash... Ho, and I just finished gamepad support.

Stay tuned!
thanks ludum dare <3
So this theme is pretty hard, but I think I've finally got an idea.
I dunno what other people think about sharing your ideas on here. But these are the ones I came up with (and am not using)
First: An ecological game, something where you're looking at the habitat of the Polar bear (because their environment is ice, snow and water. Pretty darn easy art me thinks.
Second: Text based action game, you're given scenarios and you have to avoid hitting things in the scenario. if the scenario plays out that you make the wrong choice too many times, you run out of space and hit a wall or something.
Third: Hehh.. actually just thought of this, isn't chess a game about running out of space? I mean really when your king runs out of space, your king is dead. That's chess. I guess that's a different kind of checkmate, where you take all the players pieces so they can only move their king, then you make it so you corner the king without actually putting him in check. But I don't really know chess well enough to know what that's called.
Forth: A tower defence game, but instead of having mobs come directly at your base, they are more like a "zerg" fungus, where they just keep taking ground away from you. Eventually you run out of ground unless you defeat the fungus and knock it back enough that you've got it controlled. <<< Mechanic I thought of to go with this, make the fungus a "plant" so you can make it effected by weather. So if it's raining, the plane will grow more vigorously, if it's sunny it will grow more vigorously. I would use Perlin noise to generate two waves/signals, link one into 'water' and one into 'sunshine' so the veracity of the fungus is repeatable (use a seed!!!)
Anyway, I hope everyone else if having fun, and if you have not thought of a theme, I hope this post might have given you some insperation!
Good luck Y'all
zergs pathfinding demo

This is a game (yet to be named) where you have to push pieces into the labyrinth to create a path to the goal. Next up is creating a system that starts blocking the level from the edges making it harder and harder to finish the level as time goes on. Then it's off to creating piles of gold to get the greedy ones killed :stuckouttonguewinkingeye:
check it out if you want to see someone pretend to know how to make a good game.
