The Price For Blood

Hey :)

We are a small indie studio born from the Ludum Dare. We missed the last ones as we were working on our own game, but we wanted to take a break and to come back to our roots.

If you feel lile playing a small narrative game, 5 minutes long top, why not come see us? :)

STR!PES is down

For an unknown reason, a hacker has decided to ruin my leaderboard on line. So for a while it is not reachable. It's a pity. I have to fix it today. Thank you for your comprehension ++

The berserker is out!

Greetings guys! Are you ready for the berserker?

Demon sketches

Here the quick sketches I made for one of our character, the demon. Finally we chose the versions of him without the arms, because we didn't want to make him too human. If you want to see how he's looking in game, it's just here !

Don't kill this cat!

Just a quick shoutout for @local-minimum entry:

Play it here

An interactive experience that is not quite a game but teaches you new ways of user interaction and how games can control your behaviour and change you. It's not always only about fun, but feelings in general. Games should engage you, in general, and this one will literally sticks you to the screen ;)

What were the hardest part for you?

Good morning!

Let me ask you a question: What were the hardest part for you in this jam?

For me, I think I made a game slidely bigger than I was able to (maybe an ok game for a 5 days jam?), so I had to run twice as fast to finish at the time and this was haard! In the end, I had to cut some stuff like the voice actions (the dialogues ended up having only the text).

But I'm pretty happy and proud with the results I got so far. What about you?

Learnings from LD44

Well for my part... LD 43 presented the fact that "oh please do a tutorial or at least some kind of help to the player."

This time around it's feedback on actions. Cleaning up combat systems aka polish on mechanics. Making something that the player doesn't really expect. Consider doing a thumbnail rather than just a screenshot from in-game. Hosting your own HTML build.... Nooooot that difficult and you get to track a bit on it  (more of a novelty than actually useful)

Feel free to come have a look at my entry - it is by NO means polished enough - but it seems it was much more enjoyable than my last entry. (Well actually only been hobby developing games for about a year and only got to spend around ~15 hours or so on it).

It's here:

Wonder if I'll rememeber doing all that stuff next time or I have to learn some of it again

Tracking - and yeah Tyskland is Danish for Germany that registered as most popular country

Lifelight - A game about a battle between Light and Darkness

Our (in our eyes) best game we've made so far! We're really proud about what we've achieved and we would be glad if you guys would take a quick look at our game <3

An extract of the story:
„Once upon a time in a world filled with darkness, monsters lived in peace and harmony. Until a creature of light was born. Tortured by the light emitted by the strange creature, the monsters began to attack to bring back the natural order of the world. Just as the first monster’s strike was set to end the gleaming light for good, the light began to transform into…“

Heyo!

Sigillis! It's a game! You draw things on the screen! The game deduces what the heck you drew, and then responds! It's great! It's like a tech demo, but better! It's so great, that I can't stop exclaiming!

You are invited to play this! The you can play the game on the web and then rate it on LD!

I truly appreciate your support, and have been loving all of your games thus far! Thank you to everyone for sharing their awesome creations with me, and I'm glad I could share mine!

Want to do this?

SpellQuest's weapons, enemies, and furniture are all completely physics based, and every collision deals damage to both you and enemies! This means that crushing an enemy with a bookshelf will kill them, and crushing a table with a bookshelf will rip the table apart. But make sure not to run too fast into the bookshelf, because that can kill you too.

If you want to wreck the room even more, you could cast a speed spell to fly around the room at double speed, cast a strength spell to be able to fling tables even farther, or cast a shield spell to do all of the above without taking any damage!

Play Here!

Please try our game!
