Anyone else frustrated by most games being windows only?
As a mac user, I'm sad, that I can't play most of your games :(

We have some comments saying our game is a bit hard to understand at first. We wanted to do a better tutorial but didn't had time So here is a little gameplay footage that can help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teVRe4W5Ql0

Hi there!
I want to try some bullet hell / top-down shooters! Send me yours, and I'll rate it! Yay!

Hope you enjoy if you play it, I'm really proud of how good I got the platforming to feel on this for a single weekend's work.
Some small Bug-Fixes applied and Mac + Linux support ready to go. Have fun wherever you want to ;)

Would you like to rate a game without the extra work of having to download and install an .exe? Be lazy and rate my game now!
Oh and btw its a weird undead boat thing.

If you have a game with a story to tell, share it in the comments! I would love to see what you've written!
It's hard to find time to write anything while worrying about art/mechanics/music/programming
(Don't ask how, I've kind of blacked out the past 3 days...)

We have just released a Web Version of Dudes of Wizardry. Enjoy the game! <3 :-*

To begin with, I created a sketch of how many stages of growth we will have.
There are 2 frames to make, then the growth is quite fast and inconspicuous. Therefore, set the frame in 4 frames.
Then I drew in the vector the simplest model for the programmer, with which he can already work.

It was decided not to make a large number of details, but then you need to work with color so that the plants can be easily seen on our background. It was very important.
Well, the result was such a result.

You can play the game through your browser at This link.

A huge thank you to everyone for reviewing my game. This ludum dare was a wild ride from start to finish. For the first time I stayed up all night to finish the game. I ended up submitting it with less than a hour remaining. Now that I've had some time to distance myself from the game (and got some sleep), I think I'm finally ready to write down my thoughts that went into creating the game. I'll be posting a postmortem soon here and on r/gamedev.
After that, I'll get back to reviewing your games.

Our game has already reached 47 points of innovation, thanks to all those who have voted.
This jam was just the beginning of a great adventure for us and for the game. So we need your thoughts to make it a high quality product.
Keep coming to see our work and leave us feedback.

Oh my glob, our game was randomly selected and played live on Twitch! That was so unexpected and exciting to watch — one feels like a superhero after that :D It's a big achievement, especially since it was the first time for all of us working in PICO-8, and the first game jam for the half of our team ... just wow! :)

There's this fine line I walked during development on whether the game was too unforgiving/difficult. I knew all the right answers so finding the balance was a guessing game without feedback. After some feedback I adjusted the amount of soul credits you lose for wrong choices in the WebGL build! The windows and mac downloads are unchanged. Yes, the decision for whether a person should go to heaven or hell is arbitrary! Almost all of them were made at 2am! Thanks for all the feedback so far! I definitely see making small changes to this to make the overall experience better! Check it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/your-life-my-currency
Oh, turns out the site doesn't like anything over 4mb... So here it is in a tweet! https://twitter.com/forcehabit/status/1123612348382633987
