3/4 Cup – Pacman
50 ml – Snake
To taste – Lemmings
Directions: Mix Well. Serve Hot.
Just noticed everyone’s posting a little blurb about their submitted games, so here’s mine.
Well, this was quite an experience! I wasn’t able to polish off a few of the rough edges, or get the code as clean and solid as I’d have liked. But the core game-play is in place, and I’m happy with what I did get added.
Enjoy:

Bit of a late announcement, but I am in this one! Still ironing out the concepts, but I’m hoping for something that feels more “complete” this time around.
I’ll be using:
-Flash
-Photoshop
-sfxr
I’ll be using Flash and Photoshop, probably sfxr for sound.
Starting a bit late, but I am ready to go. I will be using:
-Flash
-Photoshop
-sfxr(maybe)
Sorry for the late posting, but I am in this one!
I’ll be using:
-Flash Develop
-Flex
-Not sure about graphics or sound yet
Got my game submitted and ready for judging! I am actually pretty happy with how this one turned out, all things considered. Though as always, there’s never quite enough time to do everything I want with it.
If there is one thing I learned in this competition it’s this: Do not try to learn a new IDE, and framework, during a 48-hour game competition. I had never used Flash Develop or Flex prior to this and honestly did not have time to use either one well. This is probably some of the sloppiest code I have ever written, but somehow, it turned out functional, and next time, I’ll use tools I actually know how to use properly 😛
As always, I’d have loved to add more to it. However I am pretty pleased with how much I was able to get done considering I didn’t get started until Saturday night. Would’ve loved to add some SFX or music, and a bunch more levels. But at least it’s done, and is pretty close to what I had imagined it to be.
Using:
Flash Develop
MS Paint
Paint.NET
Finally a game that I was done soon enough to add in sound effects! Most previous competitions I ran out of time to add any sound at all. This theme was tricky, but I’m moderately happy with what I got done. Enjoy!

I will be using:
HTML5 / Javascript (for my first time)
SFXR (for sound effects)
Pain.NET (Graphics)
I did it! I got my game completed and submitted well within the deadline, and even got a full 8 levels made. Much more complete and lengthy than I am generally able to get done. I even added some sound effects, which I’ve had trouble finding time for in past competitions.
