Title Screen is done!

TitleScreen

Yes.. I do realize the title screen isnt the best place to start, gave me something to work on while pondering about what to do with the theme though!

LD32

Obligatory “I’m in!”-Post

I’m in once again, 4th time for me!

Not much has changed in terms of engine/language/editors, my Engine got fancier, but thats about it.

Language of choice: C++

Libraries:

  • SFML graphics/sound/windows/input/…
  • box2d physics
  • my own Engine/Wrapper

Toolchain:

  • MSVC behind Ninja behind CMake
  • Visual Studio for debugging (GNU on windows is too painful to debug :/)

IDEs/Editors:

  • Netbeans, main IDE
  • Notepad++ as generic editor
  • Paint.net for anything graphics/images
  • bsfxr for sounds (if i get to it)

My goals for this time are sounds and not wasting as much time on dumb issues 😀

We’ll see how that goes

LD33

Progress!

23 hours in im doing fairly good

I’m at a point where I only want to add a few more features and I’m pretty much good to go.. (which is very surprising and feels quite surreal)

How its currently looking (playing horrible since tired):

I’m in

Compulsory “I’m in”-Post upcoming

I’m in! (I warned you)

I sadly wasnt able to properly part-take in LD34 due to lack of time (there is an unfinished game lying around), but this time I’ve got the whole weekend available for 48h of coding, horrible pixel art, coffee, pizza and sleep naps.

Once again going to be coding in C++

Tools of choice…

… ‘Engine’: SFML & box2d wrapper developed by me for LD

… IDE: CLion, Visual Studio 2015 for debugging, Notepad++

… Build Tools: CMake, ninja, VC (odd combo, it works nicely though)

… Art: Paint.net

… Sound: bosca ceoil, bfxr, stuff around the house + mic

I shall be streaming the whole thing over at http://twitch.tv/imersag

weeee

Seems like it is nearly impossible to miss the goal of your game – If you know what I mean ;D
