So far I have spent 3 hours planning and about 12 hours coding and making art(not very well).
At its current stage my game has a randomly generated level as well as spawn points for the player and the enemies.
I have a progress screen shot as well as a concept for my player. Looking fforward to continuiing with this tomorrow.
So far I have played about 30 games and on the whole they are amazing. It is surprising what people can make in 48 hours.
Here is a list of my favourites you should definitely check out:
-Mr Mine
-Rob the good Guys
-Monsters create
– Antimon
– Ally’s funhouse
Over the past few weeks I have been working on a 3D game, where the player is a burger.
However I need to know if people would play something like what I have made. Here is the link to the page on itch.io I am not releasing it at its current state since there are too many bugs but I made a short demo to give you a taste.

And some screenshots:
Infinity dash was a project from a couple of years ago for a mini LD, which I never got round to posting due to the excessive amount of glitches, however now I have finally decided to remake the game for a mobile platform.
The aim is to run for as long as possible and pick up bonuses along the way. Unfortunately at the moment it is only available on the Google play store, but with more support I could release to windows and possibly IOS (it is already available on the Amazon app store as well).
Here is the link to the app and some screenshots(ratings and reviews would be greatly appreciated):https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.JosephGilesCooper.InfinityDash

if(worst comes to worst just search for it on the store and look for this image)

Infinity Dash has been on the Google play store for a few months now, however in light of the October challenge, I decided to attempt to monetise my App. To do this was a challenge, I didn’t want people to have to pay for the app, since it was already released as free, so I decided adverts were the best way to go. I have already met my goal of $1, however I wish to earn the price of the Google play developer account license back(which is about $25).
I would be really grateful if you could play my game, however I would be even more so, if you shared it with friends and family, since I would really like to hear feedback on other people enjoying the stuff I make(it is great motivation to do better next time);

Have fun, and feel free to leave a review and some feedback. I made this for everyone to play and am open to suggestions on where to improve and what I have done well. If you have read this far, many thanks and I hope that with your help I can create a much better gaming experience for everyone, with the games I create.
Cheers!!!
My 5th Ludum dare…

This Ludum Dare I have decided to make sure I have adequate time to produce a game, which represents myself as a creator, rather than only part of what I can do.
In order to do this, I have decided to use only tools which I am absolutely comfortable with (this time it is Unity 5, visual studio, blender and Gimp) and I will spend more time preparing and allocating time, e.g 3 hours on art day 1, 2 hours programming, 1 hour level design. and then leave the second day to add stuff or change certain mechanics leaving me plenty of time to finish my game at a good standard.
A key part I have found is also preparation; I have noticed I have not managed to keep time very well previously this means that I have spent little time planning. So what I aim to do this time round is to spend one or two hours drawing up ideas and writing a brief game design document, just so that I know where I am going with this game and how I can minimise wasted time and leave me long enough to fix bugs and polish up art before it is released.
To everyone joining in, I wish you good luck and I look forward to playing your entries.
(As you can probably tell, I didn’t do very well in English at school)
I’m in. Not much more to it than that,
As usual I will probably end up using: Unity, blender, Gimp, visual studio and audacity.
This time round I would like to set my self a few targets:
I will look forward to seeing the wonderful creations that get churned out at every Ludum Dare, Good luck and please no caffeine overdoses this time around. Actually get some sleep over the weekend and maybe you will be slightly more productive…well, as productive as junk-food and time pressure allows you to be.
I am currently rolling out an update which improves the highscore feature and fixes a few bugs. These updates should definitely be live by 2:30pm GMT+1. Once again many thanks.
