Hey!
I submitted my warm-up game “Bouncy Bouncy“. And it looks like I’m ready to go.
Also mi updated setup is that:
Compiler: GCC and mingw (for cross-compiling)
Library: SDL and my framework (GameLib)
Graphics: GIMP
Sound: Audacity and Sfxr/Bfxr
Timelapse: Glapse
Hardware: Gigabyte M912
And well; the required “desk” shot:
I supose that makes me a couch-gamedev 😀
I guess the first bad impresion about the theme was unfounded. After some thinking I found a feasible idea. I think the coding is going smoothly, even after some struggles with the typical problems of coding in C. The art is coming in nicely as well. Here is the first screenshot.

I think i have finished with almost all the gameplay elements. Now I’m planning the rest of the graphics and starting with the sounds. So now the status is:
I have put the Alpha1 for testing purposes here:

These are the changes since the last report:
The experience has been great and I’m somewhat proud of the result.

This weekend has been going completely wrong, the theme wasn’t inspiring me. And I was procrastinating too much… So, I will not finish this for the compo, and I doubt I can make it to the jam.
Just for the record, there is the media I did for this LD48 #23:
3h before the deadline Someone encouraged me to send something, even if it wasn’t finished. So, here is…

Good Luck!
I will try to make a game. I’m near the #GameBossJAM real world gathering.

"... It’s not my fault!"
I thought that in the end I would not be able to make any game this time. But after 6 hours of crunch, with a very weak idea, I managed to make "TowerDefense".
I didn't get to do anything over the weekend, but I did want to be able to send something, anything. The subject was good, and it gave me many ideas ... too many, which paralyzed me.
I have dedicated, around 3 hours for graphics and another 3 hours for gameplay and other coding. Obviously, I have not managed to spend time on sound, but this is common in my games for LDJAM.
I wished I could have included more game mechanics, a more varied setting and some sound.
