I made it! I can’t believe i managed to do everything i wanted to do when all the ideas poped in my head.

I still don’t know how to *Music*, but whatever…

This is my first entry for Ludum Dare and i certainly hope you are going to like what i have done.

In my game, you play as a silly sheriff who decides to use radishes instead of bullets.

It starts slowly but i think you will find it pretty challenging near the end.

It was a nice experience, making a game and feeling like beeing a part of a bigger event. =)

I had very positive feedback for my game. And it motivated me to coming back and work a bit more on it. ^^

Some of my friends trained and even managed to finish the game without beeing hit once!

So i decided to add some content and to make  a version 2.0 of my game.
What changed?
-4 new power ups (tomatoes, Birdy the kid, Automatic weaponry and Explosive shots).
-1 new foe (the panda!)
-1 new end boss
-the game is longer (you must go through 24 areas to finish the game, 3 duels and 3 bosses)
-minor changes: (the carrot and the watch were buffed, the first boss is easier, etc)

I think the game became harder but it became even more silly, allowing you to have 5 power ups at the same time (out of 10). ^^

Anyway, here is a screenshot that shows the tomato power ups (it acts like a sort of shield, but it can deal damage if it touches an ennemy):

I just finished my entry for the GameBoy Jam 4 and i … am … exhausted…

I dont have any vacation this summer, so basicaly, i was working during the day and programming the rest of the time for the past 7 days…

I wasn’t very inspired by the theme at first.

But now I’m pretty happy with where this is going.
