Delay the End is finally done!
This isn't my favorite jam game I've made, but I'm still proud of what I accomplished. Try out the game here: https://happynessisgames.itch.io/delay-the-end

Remember the pasted (or current) time when you had to DELAY THE INEVITABLE : avoiding bedtime by making a fool of your parents (by any means possible !)
We are proud to announce the gameplay cinematic release of our brand new Demo. You can Dll the build to watch the gameplay concept and leave a comment if you like the ideas 😊
Sure DADDY will bring you a cookie ! 😁👍
With no time to spare.
I made this sandwich catching game. Jump around various levels and catch the sandwich(es) in time!

After three days of hard work, my brother and I finally finised our first game jam! It was quite an adventure. Hope you'll like this little exploration-advanture game.
Hi Everyone! I just completed my first ever Ludumn Dare - the shortest Jam I've done by FAR - and I'm feeling really great about it!
This was definitely my most polished Jam game, and I even got to experiment with digital art. I've been so busy with school, that it's such a relief to be able to make and create again.
So why not check out my game and say hello to the friendly tutorial demon, Balthazar?

The competitive Ludum Dare weekend has ended, but we're still here and we're still making games!
Unlike the Jam and Compo, Ludum Dare's extra format doesn't have winners. What it does have is over 2 weeks left to make something and still be a part of Ludum Dare's feedback and ratings process! :sunglasses: :tropical_drink:
If you didn't finish your Ludum Dare in time, no problem! Take another day!
If you missed out, no problem! Try again this weekend (April 8th-11th) or next (April 15th-18th)!
Pick what works best for you!
Don't wait too long though! Extra submissions close on results day (April 21st), and if you're not early, you'll miss out getting feedback on your game!
See the full write-up for more ideas on how to how to make the most of the next couple weeks.
NOTE: We still collect ratings on Extra games (for future use), but you can opt-out of ratings entirely for a pure casual Ludum Dare experience. When you opt out, you can still give and get feedback!
For everyone did finish a game this past weekend, now's your chance to play, rate, and give feedback on games.
If you'd like to get a score at the end of the Play+Rate+Feedback period, be sure to play other games. We prioritize your game when you give ratings and good feedback. The system is most heavily weighted towards feedback, and we encourage you to like  good feedback when you see it.
Everyone making an Extra game can join us once they finish.
In case you didn't hear, Ludum Dare 50 is also Ludum Dare's 20th anniversary! We're old!
To mark the occasion, I reached out to every previous Ludum Dare keynoter, and ask them to join us for this.

Thanks everyone for helping make this happen!
That's it from me. Thank you everyone that came out for Ludum Dare weekend, and thank you everyone that's now joining us for the Casual Ludum Dare.
Finally, the game is finished!

Congrats to all participants, it was very fun ! This is the second game we ever made using unity, but we are pretty happy with the result !
You can try it out here : https://d4mn.itch.io/keep-it-up

I'm so excited to finally participate in an official Ludum Dare game jam!! This is the happiest I have been in a while! I'm currently in college studying software development! I enjoy designing game systems that make the user's overall experience better. I hope you all enjoy my game!!

My submission is finally complete!
Play a game about a bird desperately eating as many seeds as he can, only to delay his inevitable starvation...

I tried to post my game made in java and with the .jar file in itch.io, but the screen just doesn't show my game. :(
Now I admit, it's a simple game. I essentially made it in a single day because the idea I originally had was failing me. But we must prevail, mustn't we? So here I am with a game I'm rather proud of, and that's what matters right?

Now I know those images suck, but its late and I'm tired and I'll get better ones later lol.
Anyway, goal is simple. It's kinda like most zombie games really. Stop the zombie outbreak from destroying humanity. Only problem is its in one tiny little hospital. And the more zombies you cure, the more terrified patients there are to slow you down. So really the goal isn't to survive the zombie apocalypse, its to survive the crazy people after it.
I would greatly appreciate you playing the game and rating it, good or bad. Play Zombie, M.D. Now
It looks like we're done!

(the image may differ slightly from the actual product: the actual product is more loud!)
Tune in for post-mortem later. Right now? Sleep.
What an intense Ludum Dare! It had been a while since I last participated, and to be honest, I can't get enough of it!
This time around our team consisted of three people, only one of which had done anything remotely related to gamedev. Three; a hobbiest gamedev, one yet-to-touch Unity programmer, and a first-timer at pixel art. What could go wrong you ask? The truth is, nothing at all! It was an amazing experience of self-growth and superation. We decided to take it light, had fun, programmed a lot, had sleepless nights, and are proud of our efforts!
Long story short, we have just published our entry! A roguelite potion mixing game where Myst the Alchemist has mistakenly drunk a poision and is dying! Explore all combinations, craft potions, try them, accumulate receipts across multiple deaths, and try to survive for as long as possible!
You can find it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/myst-the-alchemist

Wohoo! We made it with 8 minutes to spare :) We're pretty happy with the results.
To celebrate here is a small gif of all of our enemies moving forward with their lives.

I finished my game about avoiding inevitable crashes with yourself. Unfortunately, I had no time for audio, but I can say that I'm happy with how everything else turned out! Can't wait to play other games tomorrow!
P.S. eo objave napokon
Really proud of this one. Probably one of the most polished games I've ever made.
This is already a win for me, just making this. Hope you enjoy it as well, it's pretty short in terms of actual gameplay.

In for some wicked 2D comedy with weird gameplay and child-ish rhymed narrative?

Let's feed it all back!
