If Space is limited wins...
I'm starting the rumbling on y'all
I'm starting the rumbling on y'all
Excited to participate!!! Good luck to everyone joining!
My favorite thing for thinking of ideas, is taking the game theme and flipping it on its head as much as I can. What's a way to interpret this in a way no one else will think of?
It's a great way to exercise creativity, and also rebel against the status-quo. ;)
I’m in for another compo jam, looking forward to it as ever!
I’ll be using - godot - asesprite - krita - emacs - ardour and some synths.
Happy jamming!
If Folklore wins that would be ....

Got checked all themes and thats the only one which is a so bored topic..i wouldnt have a good idea haha :joy:
So a few years ago, my team entered Ludum Dare 41 with a simple puzzle game about a candy-loving witch. Several months later, we released a full game based on that prototype to Steam, and a few years later, it even released on the Nintendo Switch.
Some amazing things can come from Ludum Dare, and I'm personally hoping we might capture lightning in a bottle for the second time.
Good luck to everyone participating, and I hope this leads to something good for you!
This will be my 13th LD. In the past, I've worked alone, and with an assortment of friends, but this will be the first time I attempt LD with my partner! Going to be using PICO-8 again, and hoping we have enough time for me to try my hand at some music this time as well. Very excited!
Now, some words of encouragement from the lady who won me #1 in humour last time:

I'm pretty quite excited yet nervous for this, I have no experience making art / audio, anyone has suggestions?
lesgoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo \O/\O/\O/\O/\O//O\O/\O/\O/\O/\O/\O/\O/
will try to make something, but I haven't made any games in almost a year now, so I'm a bit rusty to say the least. hope this jam gets the gears rolling for me again after such a long break. Good luck to everyone!
I made a small opinionated GitHub template for Godot Engine 3.4.4 entries!
Its features include: - Prefilled README.md - Small Visual Studio Code tweaks for Godot - Preconfigured Git LFS and Gitignore - Auto-build on release with GitHub Actions
Check it out here, and use it if you want!
Hey there!
We are a husband and wife team, and we plan on working REALLY hard to make our submission as awesome as possible. Our weak link is that we don't have any sound design experience between us, so if that's in your wheelhouse then comment or send me a message on discord - SasquatchB#1217
Thanks, and good luck to all!
Now it is decided! I will make my first Ludum Dare GAME! I'm hoping I'm able to have an idea small enough that I can create a whole game!
Best of luck every one <3
This is going to be my first Ludum Dare.
I'm not sure if I'll finish, but I've been needing to get better with making smaller scope games as I have a bad tendency of over scoping every project I start.
Tools
• Engine - Unity
• Code Editor - VSCode
• 2d Art - Aseprite
• SFX - BFXR
• Music - 1bitdragon
• Audio Editor - Audacity
• 3D Models? - Blender (Not planning on going 3d but I'll see what the theme is.)
• Design Stuff - Milanote
Will try to put my source code on GitHub, but I have no idea how that works so it'll probably end up on googledrive.
Good luck all!
heyo im levi, ive decided im going to stream my progress throughout the jam! heres a link to my channel if you want to see my process and my progress. https://www.twitch.tv/leviathon1432
As usual, @bcav will work on music, @genie art and calligraphy.
We'll probably use the latest incarnation of REPLICA Framework, a codebase forged in the crucible of Ludum Dare 48. This may be the last time for REPLICA. We'll see.
Удачи!
This will be my first game jam / LD (compo), I haven't ever yet made a proper finished game, just prototypes/tech, not sure if I am ready for this but I guess there's only one way to find out, should be fun.
Good luck to everyone, looking forward to playing all the games y'all come up with.
My first LD was exactly 10 years ago April 2012!
Missed the last couple of years but I'm excited to jump back in :)
April Fool's! I'm totally in. Second LD; going solo, plain-old-JS & browser APIs. Eee!
