Hey! We are wondering if this tutorial is understandable and if it makes sense! If you have a moment, feel free to give us feedback!

11 hours left! i hope you have enought time to finish your game. as of me, i think i have enough time to finish my idea. currently, i've done: - most of programming, just 2-3 important things need to be done - most of soundtrack - 99% of needed 2d visual - only a small part of needed models, perhaps i'll do less if i won't have time - brainstormed idea and plot
aaand a little screenshot

Ok, so I spent an hour or two at the start of the game jam trying to think ideas, but couldn't really think much, so I decided to not participate in it. But I'm free right now and honestly have not much to do, so I'm gonna make a game in the left 11 hours. It will be terrible but I'll still try. Let's see how far could I get.. 😨
Dear all,
yesterday I only managed to devote 4-5 hours to LDJAM and today it was just 2 hours due to several other prior obligations (and being a bit ill with a headache - not exactly ideal conditions for programming). So, I have decided to fail the Compo. However, unlike the previous times I shall continue to work on my entry for a few hours per week, so that I can at least enter something for the new Extra category.
Good luck to everyone still jamming, I'll be sure to read posts, hit the heart button, and also program a few lines here and there :)
All the best,
Kai

Look how that guy cast spells and running. He really want to SURVIVE!(but he couldn't... sry:c)

Home Stretch but still plenty to do.

Still moving along. Game is pretty much finished, but, it has a design flaw that is explained in the video.
Take a look...

I was hoping we'd get a nice theme for the big 50 as I liked quite a few of the final round ones, but alas. Anyway, I decided to work on a bullethell in which the projectiles stick around (almost) forever. I implemented a basic player controller and some projectile behaviours.
However I'm just not feeling it and would much rather work on postjam version of a game from a different jam.
Which brings me to the new Extra format. Would be considered alright if I submitted the other game as an extra so I could participate in the ratings process and get some feedback my other game in the process?
I'd obviously clearly signpost my intensions and since the format is not ranked (and rated this time around) I wouldn't consider it that much of an issue anyway, but YMMV. Do let me know what you think.
yesterday was mostly carrying through with ideas and things i thought were nice to put into a game. today is realizing what reeeeeaally makes the game fun from player pov and what the real core loop is like.
why couldn't u just give this to me day 1, brain :sob:
(im sure its just a newbie thing, dont @ me vets)Our team of two is creating a light sailing and trading simulator. Emojis are used as a placeholder art for smoke particles!
And here is the last boss! 10h left, and still a ton of work to do. Let's goooo!

Best of luck to everyone starting into their day 2! I've just had breakfast and I'm about to start cracking open some more art assets, but I wanted to share a coding update first!
@Clairric has got our movement working in the placeholder map! You can book it around!

There's also some structure on NPC attention, but that'll be more evident a little later!
Finally we've decided what to make, hope that won't be too late XD
This time we're going to build a game with doodles as the main style!
This is out cute main character and
These are the DOODLES!

Hope you like it :)
