Ludum Dare 50 April 2–5, 2022

Didn't have time to participate in the jam or compo but I'm still doing the jam

cylde v1.PNG Currently working on a game for the extra mode format, let me know what you guys think of the protagonist, this is version 1 so I will definitely make some polishing adjustments later in development, this is Clyde.

I'm going to eventually work on some shader work, I might go for a cell shader with an outline effect? Also for the modeling I'm using Blender and for the engine I'm using Unity.

First game made by our programmer!

It's his first game so he's little worries) Sweat11.gif Check it out:) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/snowman-souls

ticking clock

This is the first time I finished a game by myself for a jam, and I even did it in 2 days. It may or may not be the most basic thing I came up with for the theme since I had to scrap my first idea, but I think it turned out pretty decent anyway.

Here it is! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/ticking-clock

Also here's a short little gameplay gif. :)

My head itches....

We bring everything together and work on details. Our little farm is taking shape!Screenshot 2.png

Everything is coming together

I'm working on new art for my in-game objects and it looks as good as is can with my artistic possibilities. I have a good feeling about this game - there's enough time left to polish it.

I finally finished my second ldjam game! I've maybe bitten a little more of then i could chew and had to cut alot of features. Nonetheless i learned a lot and i'm looking forward to your feedback!

In "Rescue Man" you have to save a corgi from lava by using bombs to delay the flow long enough to rescue him.

Play it now on: https://angrybeard.itch.io/rm-rescue-man

And if you like give me feedback on: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/rm-rescue-man

Finished the Game!!

The Unavoidables

https://youtu.be/dF2j0fCdCZY https://nirajarts.itch.io/the-unavoidables

Gameplay: There are 5 total levels including the tutorial level. 1st is a tutorial, and the others are game levels. The player-rolling ball will roll forward, there will be obstacles in its way, and you have to move/slide left or right to avoid them and finish the level. The obstacles move left to right in a linear manner, as well as all move back and forth at the same time, so it will feel like they come by fast, or they are sliding forward with the player. Pay attention to their movement and you'll win.

Instructions Windows: Use "A" or "Left Arrow Key" to move left. Use "D" or "Right Arrow Key" to move right.

Instructions WebGL: Use "A" or "Left Arrow Key" to move left. Use "D" or "Right Arrow Key" to move right. Use full screen for better experience.

Instructions Android: Tap on the left side of the screen to move left. Tap on the right side of the screen to move right.

Note.: Controls for android are not well optimized due to the submission period, I'll fix those in the future.
