void Delay(Object Nuke) is published!

Hello, this is my first ever game completed and my first ever game jam submission. I hope you guys like it.

It's a game about a city getting nuked and your goal is to delay the nuke from crashing by typing out the words you see in the console.

How to play: - Wait for countdown - Start typing - No need to press Enter

Hello again, sorry for this new post just a few minutes after the previous one... It looks like my game votes are broken, i selected all categories and i see votes on only three categories.

Non promising day 3

Finishing the first stint of the third day. All the confidence I had in the end of saturday is now gone. I don't think I can finish, and not even like the game anymore.

My game entry has been updated

I woke up feeling fresh today (finally), so I finally took the time to update the description of all my game pages. I also included an implementation section for anyone interested, and a list of known bugs/problems with the game.

Can you make performance optimizations after the deadline?

I'm aware that according to the compo rules, you can make important bug fixes to the game even after the deadline. Can you make performance optimizations? I only just ran the Godot profile on my game and discovered some clues into why it sometimes runs so slow...

My best jam game so far!

I'm at that point in my jamming career where I can't even remember the number of jams I have participated in. I think this was my 3rd LD jam and maybe my 10th jam overall. And I couldn't be happier with the game my team made for this jam. Not only did I team up with people with no jamming experience because I was tutoring them, we still managed to make one hell of a game together. I focused a lot less on programming as I usually do because I was occupied with teaching others. And it was so worth it, because what we made is definitely my best Jam game so far! (Even thinking about making an Android and IOS build of the game)

First ever Compo entry

ticktack.PNG It was close but I managed to bring my game to a playable state in time.

The time compo time limit is pretty tough so there is no sound and no real menu. This time i took the opportunity and tried something new and implemented the game in zig using raylib for rendering/input. Although zig is still under heavy development it was really pleasant to work with. With some manual binding labor I also got raylib up and running in web.

I had a good time attending the gamejam and now I have finally time to play/rate the other games :)
