My teammate is still working very hard on finishing touches, so I drew a logo for our game!

I was so excited to challenge myself with my firs t ludum jam and challenge i did... i like the freaks i drew though. Check out the final product! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/doomsday-sale

This was my 5th Jam in a row and i spend a good 45 hours developing this weekend and still had a few things unpolished or unfinished. So as usual i heavily overscoped.
On the other hand i learned a lot about Unity Scriptable Objects and Event Based Programming. I started trying things with shaders and textures. Usually i just use flat color materials.
The end result ist a little space fighting game. Try it out and collect all the rare artifacts:

So happy to have finished this game with the team! Submitting in the final few minutes was such a thrill. Because the deadline was so tight, there are a few small, known bugs that we didn't get to fully fix. Still, we're really satisfied with the result and we hope you'll enjoy playing it! We look forward to your feedback!

Well yes, technically, it’s 3D, but in reality just an imitation of 3D model
I made it by creating two sprite objects and merging them with a C# script.
In detail: the script generates a mesh in runtime between two sprites. Once it defines geometry it starts mapping UV for side material and keeps repeating this process until it reaches the opposite edge

We did it!
This was proably the most exhausting Ludum Dare for me, but i'm really glad of the result!

After being away for a while and/or not managing to finish previous entries, I finally have a game!
With the collector theme, cards came to mind, and so I made a game about Bafo, a popular children's game from my childhood where we'd bet cards on duels.

Featuring 10 real life mushrooms hand modeled in Blender by me.

Hey guys!
This is our twelfth entry for Ludum Dare and we made a game where you slip into the role of a duck who loves to collect beautiful shells on the beach
We would really appreciate it, if you take your time and test the game, leave a comment and maybe some rating.

Best regards @nivbeth, @fis, @johncoffee & @lean
Hey folks ! Hope you all enjoyed the jam!
Here's a little before-and-after: the first blockout (12 hours in) on the left, and the "finished" product on the right., we had a great time making the game !

if you give it a shot : - Bring all packages inside, do not let them stack and overflow your delivery area - Gather enough props in the room to unlock the next one - Keep going endlessly because you never have too much items... Don't you ? ;)

We're excited to check out your games and would love to hear your thoughts on ours. Enjoy !
I took part in Ludum Dare 58. My first game jam — and, sadly, a failure.

At first, I had one idea — couldn’t implement all the mechanics, and the concept itself turned out weak, so I dropped it.
Only two days left. Came up with a new idea — I liked it, got inspired… but everything went wrong..

Coding problems everywhere. Tried to fix them, asked GPT for help — it ended up breaking my game about fifteen times. Didn’t sleep for two days, drew assets, wrote code, built scenes. Didn’t finish the art, Unity was being stubborn: post-processing effects didn’t work, my art got squashed into pixels. At least that part I could’ve polished. But the code…

I relied too much on myself. I wanted to make it on time, to make it beautiful. Instead — exhaustion, bugs, and silence outside the window at four in the morning.
I guess I overestimated my abilities…

Wow! What a game jam, come check out this game made in a 3D engine during this jam using Picotron!
... Time to fly home. Thanks for playing!
