My First Game Jam Completed!

I just competed in my first ever game jam and it was really fun!

It's time to take your anger out on innocent civilians by hitting them with your car. Don't forget to collect all the achievements on the way! Here's the link: https://borealteuthidia.itch.io/road-rage

I just actually "released" with only one minute to go...

As I'm really new to Bevy (and Rust in general) i had no idea how big the build sizes get. I'm sure there is a way to cut them down significantly but i dunno. So the zip was (is) to big for our LudumDare upload AND for itch!

(ignore that the program is called ld48 - i am tired...)

So i now have provided a temporary link to weTransfer that will expire in 3 days. As the rules are kind enough I will try to read up on actually building the thing in a reasonable state and also provide other platforms if that's possible.

Anyway good night folks.

My third Ludum dare. I almost made everything i wanted...

коллектор.png Made a game about collecting taxes. This was my third ludum dare. Really wanted to fit in to compo, but overscoped a bit and didnt fit in. Sad, but atleast i finished the game. Wanted to make a web build, but couldnt figure out how to upload. Had to settle on desctop build, because missing a second deadline would have been awkward.

Kings Orders - Game made in half a day

Pretty please with this game considering I had only around 9 hours to code!

Ludum Dare is what got me started in games development and I have never looked back.

First ever game was an LD submission.

Best of luck to everyone and can't wait to play your games

Finally relax and play

We're finally done with this crazy sprint! Let's dive into our little gnomish adventure, and then play some other Ludum Dare games too

Plat it at: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/halloween-knight

You can play in browser with a controller or a keyboard -- so go check it out! We'll do our best to review the games of everyone who reviews ours. (We're also happy to make other builds available on request, but we've only tested for the Web so far).

Phone friendly

Hi guys! As usual a message from me-

Do you have a game that can be played on a phone? Drop it below and I will try to play and rate it.

Happy gaming!

Crunch time...

The name is the game, and the game is Ludum Dare, I suppose...

After an unbearably slow start due to technical issues, occasionally intercepted by short creative sessions, and then followed by more technical issues, we have managed to put out something playable during the last 12 hours of the Jam.

Crunch Time was supposed to be about the stress and feel of your average work day, and we really felt that in those final hours - especially since we only got halfway through telling our story.

Brave ones can maybe find some enjoyment in playing it anyways, and we'll be updating our game to make it what it was supposed to be in the coming days.

Can you find a meta strategy and set a new highscore?

I’d also love to hear your feedback and rating! Post a Screenshot of your highscore!! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/shape-collector

@CaptainDreamcast has set the current highscore:

I spent 10+ hours making card illustrations AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN

This is my first solo participation, and while I can't make music and SFX to save my life, I at least tried to create all of my assets and icons manually, just to see how hard it would be.

Turns out, yeah, it's hard. Duh.

Anyways, here are sneak peaks of a few of the cards you can find in EVERYTHING: The Trading Card Game. There's 100 illustrated cards all made during the jam, not to mention booster pack illustrations and such.

Da Game : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/everything-tcg Please come and play so I didn't break my mouse in frustration for nothing.
