Regarding Jam submission

Hey guys, wanted to ask what is the consensus around doing balance patches post-jam? We only have a web build so not sure how that would work with the LD rules. For balance patches we don't have to engineer anything new, just c hange few configs and rebuild

We did it (again)!!

We finally managed to fix our build and other problems when running the game. If you guys wanna check it out you shouldn't run into any problems anymore.

Give it some love <3

I was feeling ill and with all the pressuare, I got sick for real :( I'll try to play as many games as I can

Collect shapes and beat the highscore

Can you find a meta strategy and set a new highscore?

I’d also love to hear your feedback and rating! Post a Screenshot of your highscore!! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/shape-collector

@CaptainDreamcast has set the current highscore:

the progress you can make in one day is wild

the visual difference between one day and the next can be pretty impressive with the work we put into it

saturday night: barely even had a gun image.png

sunday night: the game is complete and all that was left was polishing, balancing, and maybe some extra content Skillector

and there was some extra content added before monday night. very proud of what we've done!

Hey! If you are interested in playing as a famous collector why not try this?

The whole process is simple

Buying antiques => Selling antiques => Ending the day

I will do some further development afterwards so the feedbacks is really important to me, especially for the Numerical Design

This is some character arts I drew but haven’t added into game yet IMGem5770.png IMG/em5772.png IMG_5771.png

What a weekend

Honestly, I hadn't expected to come back to jamming after spending so long working on larger projects. Especially with how a friend told me how excited they were that I was trying something charming and whimsical for once, considering how tonally serious my other projects have been at my job. This was fun, possibly my best jam attempt, too! Feels like I finally broke my game jam curse of either not finishing or hastily slapping something together in the final hours after like, the first couple I did, ever. Maybe I'll do more in the future? Who knows!

P.S., I'd really appreciate it if you checked out my whimsical chaotic cat simulator, The Skitter Kit!

Chromium browsers seem to be having trouble with WebGL embeds on this site, so there's also an itch.io link for that exact thing. Chase.gifChaos.gif

Finally getting to play your games!

I can't wait to check your games and be thinking: "I wish we could have something like that!"

How I Made the Game

When I found out the jam's theme, the first thing I did was remember my long-standing dream to create my own Pokémon. But I immediately came to my senses and realized I wouldn't have time to make something like that. Then, the idea of stealing underwear accidentally popped into my head. It seemed funny, but weak.

I went to bed, and the next day, while coming up with various ideas, I realized that the one about the fetishist/underwear thief had really stuck in my soul.

But there was also an option to make a game about fishing. After asking my channel subscribers, the idea emerged to combine stealing with a fishing rod.

photoem2025-10-04/em14-21-05.jpg

At first, I thought about having the option to simply steal underwear for a collection. I drew 28 pairs of underwear... I felt like a lingerie designer :)

2025-10-07_13-17-13.png

But I realized it would be cool if you could put the stolen underwear on your head. So, on top of that, I drew 28 variations of the main character's head.

photoem2025-10-06/em13-08-36.jpg

I made the mechanics quickly; the bigger problems were with storing the underwear data and checking which ones had already been stolen.

I also thought that comics of him sniffing the underwear were needed. Why sniff clean ones? Right, no reason. So, I made it possible to sniff 2 dirty pairs of underwear, which can be stolen from the laundry hamper and the trash can.

photoem2025-10-07/em13-22-49.jpg

I didn't have enough time for the final picture; I wanted to draw the main character in a bathtub made of underwear, lol.

But instead, I drew a cover that I absolutely love.

First, I made a sketch of the pose. I used some promo for a fishing game as a reference, lol.

photoem2025-10-06/em17-44-15.jpg

I thought about having underwear on his face, but my subscribers voted against it.

photoem2025-10-06/em18-30-10.jpg

I added shadows, hair, and moved the hook to the left side so it would be visible.

photoem2025-10-06/em18-49-11.jpg

I added sharpness. And it was ready.

This is my 4th jam in my entire life. And I see that with each jam, the games get better and better.

Play it, have fun :)

Game Jam Goal

After a decade of wishing to make a Multiplayer game in a LDJam, I've finally acheived the dream!

We learned so much, and I most definately want to do it again so I'm sure our next multiplayer will be even better.

Overall the breakthrough moment just shy of midnight when 2 of us devs could login and walk around together was priceless!

Give it a go and see if you like it - PS Connection takes 5-10 seconds once you join/create a room so please give it a sec to load :)

The first day of forest exploration

Witchlist was born when we decided to make an element containing forest, witch and crucible game. Here, you can see a little witch collecting resources in the forest in order to fulfill the wishes of animals. Stones, plants, wood ... and damn flies! Don't underestimate these things, throw them into the magic crucible, and maybe you can synthesize unexpected things! 首页.jpg When you enter the game, the omnipotent magic ball will guide you to the village to find small animals to get their wishes. Go and see what the wishes of small animals are! 去寻找小动物接取任务吧.png Small animals have different wishes. What role will these things play in the next story? Let's look forward to the next development ~ 和小动物对话.png Dangdang! Click on the left and our magic crucible will appear! Put the things you collected in the forest into the crucible quickly. 坩埚合成页面.png It should be noted that if the backpack is full, it is impossible to synthesize new items. You can choose to drag and drop the items in the backpack to make new grids. 无法合成物品.png What should I do if I forget what small animals think? Click on our omnipotent crystal ball again and you will see a whole taskbar! 愿望清单.png Come and try our game! ! I look forward to meeting you in the game.

First LD Complete

After looking in from the outside for ages, I'm so happy to have finally taken part!

I was finally able to playtest my game... it is HARD :/

Yeah, had no time to properly balance my game. It was supposed to be hard and keep player still on the edge, but maybe it is bit too hard. Nevertheless there are some players already and you can try to beat them. Do you dare?

This time I got inspired by an old childhood game and created this little game.

It has 10 levels and you can play it on browser.

Let's Talk... Procedural Gnomes :)

Hola! For our game Where's my money, Gnomski?!? we created cozy little village of gnomes called Debt Meadow and populated it with 130 gnomes of different financial situation and credit score. This naturally put a challenge in front of us: make them look different and visually diverse.

photoem2025-10-06/em23-39-38.jpg

To achieve this we made our gnomes model modular, and made a system which generate gnomes appearance procedurally by some rules using various parts(Hat, Eyebrows, Beard, Mustache) and colors.

In total we have: - 5 variations of hat(comes at 3 different colors); - 4 variations of a beard, 3 variations of mustache, 2 variations of and eyebrows(all in 5 different colors).

This make total count of possible unique gnome appearance equal: 1800 variations(if I good at math).

photoem2025-10-05/em00-22-19.jpg

As for target debtor gnome, painted on a scroll we made an interesting technical solution too. The image on the scroll is rendered and processed by a cartoon shader in a separate scene from the real target debtor gnome in 4 different posses.

So if we would need to add extra missions to existing 15, there won't be necessary to draw new textures, system will create their image automatically.

That's all on topic for now! Please play and rate our game!
