Got movement to work!

Got movement to work!

Me and @Pegasys decided on an arcade filled with various minigames selected at random every 10 seconds. We have 3 games implemented and the basic functionality done.
Hi
First release of the game is available at https://gamolf.itch.io/laby10s for Windows and Mac as portable programs (no install needed).
You have 10 seconds to join the star in a labyrinth by going to the left or to the right.

She is Hylee, the little unfortunate witch protagonist of our game, about to read a book about potions!
The Timer will not always be visible, so it's important that the pulsing of the level tick wit the seconds. For the last few seconds of the level, we can switch to panic mode and make the walls flash red.
The movement controller only has a few settings 😅

But at least the results are pretty good so far, should be nice with some tweaks

We are rolling with our duel of every ten second sons idea. Here the tenth second son is fighting Nocturne Ashblood, a necromancer from the north. Still lacking on art but the gameplay is coming along nicely. Here is a preview of the fight. He summons skeletons that throw bones at you. I'm really happy with the progress on the parry, dash, and dodging.

Coders are working hard. Made damage and health to work and also removed superfluous regeneration. Now just dealing damage and events for animation left. Fighting system need work
Started super late but at least I got my little tank running.

So far I have 3 microgames, hoping to have 6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgIo8F8NWZs I'm happy with my progress so far, but I'm slightly terrified to start composing a music track for the game :grimacing:

We finally managed to add the win condition for the player, almost feels like a real game now!

The plan is to use the remaining time today to finalize the core loop, and then start making levels tomorrow morning!
Hope the jam is going well for all!

All mechanics are implemented, the level design is done.

Next steps are graphics and sound design. Polish the user experience and add more feedbacks would be great but I will probably not have enough time before tomorrow deadline.
Now is time to have a good night.
Only two days left ? Time sure flies ! Fortunatly, we have made good progress ! How about yours y'all ? Is the Jam going fine for you ? Anyway, let's keep up ! We can do it :muscle:

There are two days left, I hope I will have time to finish my game about garbage.

It's my and my friend's(@noir) first GameJam, and we already did better than we anticipated!
That's the progress so far:
It's not much but we've a lot of fun working on this.
It is a bit of an odd day one for me. Quite tipsy. At a spa hotell still thinking about the theme and won't be home until tomorrow but thinking about a game adding one dimension every ten seconds or duplicating the game every 10s, but we'll see tomorrow.
