*Tchou tchou intensifies*
I guess you see where it's going on.

If your game auto-saved a Scene somewhere in your project. When I reopened the game after crashing, it looked like a clean wipe - until I found my Scene, and my worries were remedied. Also, here is a battle pig.

We don't keep up to make posts, and the skilful hands of the team have already animated such cool things.

Considering I'm not an artist, I feel it's cool.
Finally got a level together using door wall and floor assets. Starting to build up my modular kits
Today I made the following: player controls and gun, enemies that shoot player, enemies can die, and deal damage to player, music!!!,art for player and enemies. To-do list for tomorrow:menus and UI,SFX,particles maybe?,enemy waves, random pickups every 10 seconds!!!(they can upgrade you or the enemies),something else that I forgot.
It seems like a lot but hopefully I can get it all done tomorrow. This has been quite fun, good night y'all!
Progress on my SNES adventure game today is going really great, main focus this morning has been sorting out all the visual assets. With other genres I don't go so heavy on content until the end but with adventure games I find getting the rooms and characters sorted fairly important as they define the tone of everything else. So right now I have my character shifting between two dimensions every 10 seconds.

My schedule for the jam looks like this:
DAY 1 - ~~Rooms and Characters~~ - Adventure Scripting Engine
DAY 2 - Puzzles - Dialog
DAY 3 - Audio - Polish
So for the rest of the day I'm implementing a really light weight scripting system to cover my basic adventure game needs: dialog, choices, variables, inventory items. Then tomorrow I'll start bringing the puzzles and dialog in using that system.
I stopped for some tasty Chicken Katsu Curry and to write this blog post, and soon I'll be back to the code mines.

We're streaming all weekend! Come check out how things are going here: https://studio.youtube.com/video/LzsOW5-K-C4
Allow me to introduce you to Laser Shark!

It sure is a video game.

Add some particles to make game look better. But I must focus on gameplay now  :joy:

what we have achieved so far: - Playable level is pretty much complete - We made a system to travel between different sectors of the level - Basic dialogue system - Basic iteration of the theme - And of Course the whole mystery was thought out.
To do for tomorrow: - Flesh out Dialogue system - Add NPCs that walk around - Maybe a Journal system - add some object in the level to interact with - and so much more.
Good luck everyone!
