More environment for EX SOMNIUM.

sleepy time

We are tweaking the main mechanic of this game, aptly named Meteor Racing, and we are good to go, we hope to publish today even if we do the Jam, since tomorrow is workday :(
Phew! First day was pretty rough, but I still managed to make it! Good luck to the rest still jamming, it's game time after some good rest for me.

I have an hour to: 1. Main Menu 2. Game Loop 3. Polish 4. Game Design Tweaks
help.
You can see the nightly builds here: https://wouter52.com/PROJECTS/LD51/NIGHTLY_BUILDS/ We're going to bed now. The core mechanics work now :-)

Stil so much to do :)

Energy, crafting, building, relocating... did I forget to add something?
Oh yeah, the rest of the gameplay... Thank god I still have a day

So I tried to embed a WebGL, and it successfully uploaded, and it gave me something to embed: $$embed-####.zip (numbers removed). I'm not sure what to do with this; putting it in the game page doesn't do anything, so I'm sure there needs to be extra things around it. What do I put there?
EDIT: Nevermind, it seems to work as long as it's there.
One hour prior to the end, everything is finished ! Here is what it looks like :

I am very proud of this entry, I tried to be more ambitious than the previous time. Also I did music and sound, which I didn't last time. I find it fun to play.
Hope you do too : https://sdelay.itch.io/in-the-hair-tonight

I've finished my compo entry, "Schism". Check it out!
Hey everyone! This is probably just post-submission emotion and sleep deprivation, but I want to say that I'm so proud of everyone who participated. Even if you didn't finish, or you don't think your work is as good as you wanted - what matters is that you tried where lots of other people didn't.
I've been dreaming about game design my whole life, and even graduated with a minor in game design a DECADE ago but had to put off my game design dreams for personal reasons.
I just started tinkering with games again last year but it all felt so overwhelming. I appreciate the Compo because I don't know if I'd enter a jam if I knew I were competing against teams of people with pre-built assets. LD certainly helps level the playing field for us noobs.
I'm looking forward to playing all your games and being a part of this awesome community for hopefully years to come!
Cheers, Matt
There is still a lot of work to be done. Congratulations to those who have already released their game for compo.

I've got an idea for the jam! ..but there's only 24 hours to go...
I might still enter LD Extra! I've had an idea for a village management game where you can pick an action every ten seconds, but the world is real time. It's a bit ambitious, but I might give it a go!
(First sketch of the idea, more to come?)

I'm struggling to find where do I grade the games.. I have my game published so I'm definitively participating in the jam already. Am I missing something here? I tried 4 games so far, couldn't grade any of them

A bit of a rough one this time, but I think its fun. Very Neon White inspired. If anyone can beat my times let me know :)
