Congrats to every one for this weekend, finished or not ! Been a minute since my last LD (like 7 years ago or something ?) and I had a blast. Also first finished project with Godot which was super fun. Let me present to you Keep it clear, Bob !

Looking forward to check out some great games out there, can't wait to dive in next week !
Another day well spend, good progress, game is ready! A bit more playtesting and maybe a few nice things to add^^
After using TIC-80 for the last three going back into Godot made this interesting.

Barry is one of the characters in our game. If you play your cards right he will send you this lovely picture of himself!

There's so much more I wanted to do, but I managed to get a lot in and finish something for compo, so I'm happy with that. At least the basic gimmick I wanted is there and it works, so mission accomplished?
Here's the game's page: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/connie
Can't wait to play everyone else's games and see what kind of feedback I get too!

A Detective trying to solve his last case
An arcade-quebert game about finding clues to solve the reason for your demise, lots of jumping, color, and keeping you eyes open to avoid reapers from taking your clues away.
Ok,... time to rest.

Now I can use AI generated artwork :)
Congrats to the compos today! I'll see you jammers on the other side.

This was a crazy Ludum Dare for me. It's my first since having kids and it's extracted a heavy toll...I feel like I'm going to get a cold.
The moment of despair (there always is one) was at 11pm on Saturday when I realized my game idea wasn't going to work...at all. It was getting too complicated, the systems were too difficult, and no where near being fun. So I threw it all. Code, sprites, game design, and started over.
But I'm proud of where it got to...it's something! I tracked my time and over the 48 hours I was able to spend 10 hours actually working on it.
Things I wish I had time to add: - Particle effects - Juicy bounces - Animations
I'll need to get quicker on the draw for these things if I want to get them in time next round.
Good luck everyone!
And our little puppy is finally alive and moving 💪 See y'all tomorrow and great job to the Compo folks for the incredible work of making a game in such a short damn time!

swapply_1.png My first participation to Ludum Dare ! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/swapply It's made with Pico8, coffee and a lot of love. Funny fact!, I spend too much time working on another game idea but I aborted it because it wasn't fun :-) I rushed this one on Sunday. It's a bit buggy and the level design could be better but maybe you'll like it.
Bises, take care
I was worried over all the Week End that I couldn't finish my game in time, but at last it's completed right before the end :D it's my first game, on Godot, I did my best :p https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/bills-to-pay

My favorite attempt at LD so far.

This time I ended up with a truly complete game. Fully featured, with full gameplay, music, and sound. I even got a voiced tutorial into the game.
I focused really hard this year on staying with an idea that could be fully complete in the time alloted.
Tools - - Engine - Construct 3 - Art - Pixaki on iPad - Sound - Audacity for cutting, Auxy for music - Kitty sounds - my eager-to-help 7 year-old
Thanks for a great experience!
My game is out ! I am glad I managed to post it before the last 15 minutes :D Good luck to everyone who are still jamming !
Game here
Race against the clock on your unicycle to make the most out of your delivery shift !

Finished and submitted the game! I had a lot of fun with this one (maybe even too much fun)!
I'd love to hear what you think about it, so feel free to give it a go!

I asked the guy who does the shaders to improve the water for my post here [:spy:] ...His answer ? "Too much to ask."

I'm sure we won't have time tomorrow due to the working day, thus we've assembled everything we've done and published our "Spooky Shooter" here and at Itch.io!

I had begun to wonder if I would ever sleep again
I'd estimate I'm hopefully 5 hours out from being able to play the game. Then I need to make win/lose states and add a story, (levels???) y'know - make it a game.
Oh, and art and sounds. Don't forget art and sounds....
