Unity embed not working

Anyone know why my Unity embed isn't working? It works when I upload it to itch.io.

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/short-lived-survival

We did it !

I had a huge panic at the end (there is always panic at the end of a jam !)

It's time to take some rest and vote, good job everyone, don't hesitate to come aboard to test my game (play it fullscreen please).

See you next time ! <3

Did my game MVP for Compo, heading off for the last Jam day!

Whoa, those were two really loaded days...

I've got a working game idea and made it from scratch, both graphics and code alike, but didn't get the SFX out, neither did I manage to implement better juice mechanics.

Guess I'm going for another jamming day, then. See ya all tomorrow!

Got my Compo Game done just in time.

I didn't mean to make it so hard... but it's too late to balance now! Guess that means yall better GET GUD! :D

Oh F**K. The panic

This weekend has been a wild ride. First off, I had decided to skip the event all together due to lack of time but then decided that I want to give it a try. It is what it is. So come sunday evning I am rushing to get a stable build up and running and when It is time to submit I have problem with packing the sourcecode. I realise that I am two seconds late when I press publish, only to realise there is a submission hour. I had totaly forgot about that.

I have pestered friends and family to see if they can get hang of the controlls but It would be awsome to here your judgement of it, is it to hard, or easy. What grade and score do you get?

I will play all of your games in return if you rate mine.

Another one ... love this jam thing

... but how come it's always scramble scramble scramble...

And boy o' boy it's a good thing that the jam does not have a code quality enforcement task force... It's remarkable how different these jams session are from the my more longterm projects.

The best of luck with all your entries

Welcome to Cursed Hotel

Hooray, I've finished a game!

This may be the first time I'm not completely disappointed about the gameplay. I'd be glad if you checked it out

Also I'm looking forward to playing your games. I hope I can find enough time for them, a busy couple of weeks ahead of me

Time To Live: 10

TTL10.gif

Come play my first compo submission! TTL:10 is a short puzzle-platforming game in which you play as a pair of cubes that record their movement and then respawn every 10 seconds. Platform on top of your previous movement to reach otherwise inaccessible locations!

End of day 2

Hey all!

A lot of work, and a lot of bug correcting, physics adjustments and gameplay/feeling tests. here are some of the day keylights (in no particular order): - Added the cycle mechanism (10 seconds between normal and altered phase/stasis) - First rough of the altered phase/stase with heavy post processing (it needs a lot more work) - Added basic UI to display main cyclic timer and score (more to come: player robot health) - Better enemy visual - Added better laser visual, sound (pew pew), impact particles, explosions... - Add dynamic damage texts

The last day is going to be intense. Stay tuned and good night folks!

Day 2 progress

The gameplay looks and feels a lot nicer now:

gamestate_day2.gif

I also have a pretty slick-looking menu:

Tomorrow I will finish composing the music tracks, build the tutorial screens and high-score system, and then work on adding as much polish and content as I can possibly cram in before the Jam deadline.

...can you even build a boat from driftwood?

Maybe a raft...

I'm about to take a break for dinner, but parts gathering is now working!

Higher quality parts will let you build a better boat to increase your chance of a successful escape.

HoldToGather.png I clearly spent more time on some sprites than others

Press and hold lets you gather parts from a nearby object.

GatherFailed.png Or fail to gather, if you're unlucky

Finished!

I finished my game yayayyayayayayyayayayayayay This was my first time I've actually published a Unity game or done Ludum Dare with Unity. So this is kinda bad

Finished for the compo!

Now I can finally sleep! Although I'll be back tomorrow to start rating your games.

Way too much rushing in the end to deliver something completable

It's out of this world!

I'm proud to introduce my Ludum Dare 51 entry, Negative-G!

Negative-G is a platformer with a twist! You play as Jeffery, an astronaut in the year 2336 aboard the Muse, a one of its kind space station, however while on an adventure in deep space the ship’s artificial gravity generator malfunctions. Can you traverse the station with gravity acting haywire?'

SWITCHEROO! Finally! Just completed my first LD submission!

switcherooLogo.png

ezgif.com-gif-maker (1).gif

Basicly, every 10 seconds either your shoot side or game view mirrors. Your goal is to beat the final boss, a 20-sided dice that belongs to an evil mage who turned you into a hexagon.

To be honest, I've just made something that lived in my mind for some time. The theme fits genre and mechanics so well. It's pretty confusing to figure out your controls and orientation when the rules are constantly changing every 10 seconds.

Hope you'll enjoy it.

Good luck!

Chaos Dungeon is published

And now I'm going to sleep.

Clown Rancher has been published!

A minimalist Clown Farming simulator, where every 10 seconds you have a new upgrade! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/clown-rancher!
