Hey there everyonr I'm Joseph "Jay Sirtest" is my first time working on a Game for Ludum Dare.

Having seen your message @pov , short but sweet before I wrestle with my tasks again- Hi! I am Lizz and the partner in life and these jam of @wouter52 . I have no experience in programming so starting small and assist Wouter with many things that go beyond providing and sharing snacks. Lover of D&D, like to write stories. What else... Well, I am very excited to try out and rate games coming weeks.

I just lost almost all the sprites I've made because of a crash. I could probably look into recovering them, or just remake them much faster, as I spent a lot of time experimenting and not that much actually drawing, but I quite frankly don't care about this theme enough to go through the effort.

Finally the player is able to do something \o/ You can now not just create a tour, but also start the delivery which makes the time pass :D Nothing too fancy so far, but i'm getting there :3

The idea so far:
Stand up against package stealers and defend your neighborhood from theft.
I thought that throwing things at the package stealers would be the immediate response. So I worked mainly on the movement/camera controls and a throwing mechanic. Working in Godot 4!
I'm exited to see what day 2 will offer! Probably a lot of Blender tutorials :skull:
Now all that remains is to implement a lot of things,
I hope to finish on time

Making a game about very destructive but fast Amazon package delivery

Coming right to your doorstep!

Made our first asset for our very own first game jam!
Not for me at least  I made the grave mistake of building a physics based game.. again...
Ow well, It starts to look nice. That is something.

First time participating, my gf and I are making a little browser game where you play as a bird and feed your chicks.

I worked on this 1920's car, and some materials all day. I'm really slow in Blender... But I like the result.
Also my engine (based on Babylon.js) has some really big holes. I hope I can finish anything tomorrow!

I'm not as far along as I'd like, sadly:

As you can see, enemies can hit you and kill you, but you can't hit them back. I was halfway through programming the collision logic for that when the migraine I've been nursing since Thursday decided to kick in again, so I'm going to call it a night and get some rest and hope I feel better tomorrow. If not, I might just have to call the whole thing off. I'm out of pain relief, I have a bunch of other stuff to do, and I'm not destroying myself for the sake of a game jam.
We added the "hunger" characteristic to the player. Now the "food" is drawn and sucked to the player, if there is a hungry object in the radius.
- We have to finish "shooting";
- Markers for moving around the field.

Can you guess the gameplay yet? :skull_crossbones:

Hello to all those who are tired and have worked hard! I understand you perfectly :blueheart:*hugs of support*:blueheart:
Let's summarize the results of the first day of development of our game! First of all, we came up with a concept:
Here are the half-final arts of our rats:

When meeting with patients, of course, they will thank us, so here is the UI of the dialog frames:

In addition, we have sketches of some characters and locations ready, but we will show them a little later, hehe
A small spoiler for those who have read to the end: there will be a scoreboard in the game! Which one of you is the best rescue rat, huh?:smirk:
A third of the way is passed, there is not much time left, so I wish everyone to work hard and just have fun!
