Trying to summon a cat here~~~

... Please don't
Only finished concepts for enemies, about to make title screen to have my project visible on here.
Not sure how far I'll get by the end of tonight...
It's the end of day 1 and we seem to have lost a texture somewhere, judging by the suspicious magenta permeating our fog. Despite that, things seem to be progressing nicely, we got camera and movement set up, enemies and minions spawning and some fancy animations. Tomorrow we're continuing onward to the actual summoning mechanics.

Joining again after two years of not participating - <3

Still A LOT to do, but at least it's starting to look nice. :)

My tutorial level is mostly finished, and I'm proud of my sound design and primitive art. I've been stuck for hours on a few very annoying bugs, though. Going to do my best to overcome and get this thing to a fully working state!

First 24h. Small pieces of pixel "art" and most of the core gameloop already implemented!

Slow progress ,and running low on caffeine and puns.

The level generation procedure is still pretty naive, but you can progress through the game now.
Also, the player can now pick up items (it's chalk).

1 full day down.
This first time using Godot is going... good-ish. She's ugly as sin right now but the mechanics are coming together. Going to finish up the summoning/battle loop tonight and crank out some top tier programmer art and sound tomorrow!

When summoned, spirits convert their neighbors to their team.

Lots of placeholder art, but you can technically complete a game loop! Tomorrow's goals: * art * implementing the manual (tutorial and recipes) * sounds and music

After 24 hours, I've got a basis of a game.

The base mechanic is in, the scene is mostly laid out, and my brother-in-law laid down a sick track titled "Wapner's Revenge". I'm not sure how good I can get it looking, I don't really know what I'm going to do for character models, and I would like to add more content and mechanics, but I should be able to at least submit something for the jam.
Here's the first peek at my solo gam jam entry "Diabolical Love". In this game, you get to interview 3 lovely gentlemen (from the depths of the nether world) some burning questions to see if any of these soulless monsters may actually be your soulmate.
