The beginning of somethings
Graphically I must add animations and more decors and props. Rules side, I have already the outline but I need to drill into gameplay details.

Yesterday I created the avatar generation.

The avatar has 3 components: hair, face, and body. For each component, I have created 3 separate styles. These are then randomized, and the body gets a random color. With this, it's very easy to create a lot of different characters. Nevertheless, my main game loop and game core are still missing. This is going to be the big challenge. 🏆

Here are some of the tarot cards we made on Day 1
I managed to get the book to open up! Strange noises seems to be coming from deep inside. Something beyond. I recognize the symbol, and it asks me of favors. But how? Why? I don't know yet... My wrist doesn't hurt anymore.

(I've made some work on the tutorial part of the game and have come a long way on sounds. Hopefully I'll be done with most "missing" features quite soon. That would mean I'll have a lot of time for adding content)
Hey game creators!
We wanted to share our progress on "Demon 91" for the game jam with you all. Check out some sketches of the main character, Neufin, to get a glimpse of his appearance and personality. Additionally, here's a sneak peek of the main story screen, where players will embark on their epic adventure.
Happy creating, everyone! 💻✨

There is some hellish bureaucracy going on. Thank the devil that we have some official Hell guidelines >:)

Well, after experiencing some troubles related to 2D sprite import when making 2D games with Unreal Engine 5, I migrated my game making tool from UE5 to Godot Engine 3. And I have made a simple game for LD55 now.
Do not use UE5 for 2D games with top-down view. That is my lesson.

Edit - This is the game link
So, with Day 2 almost over, I've worked on Beansters a bit. I fixed a little bug in the fighting system, allowing players to attack/heal as many times as they want. I also got to work on the map, and other little things for the fighting mechanic. Now since my last post didn't have any gameplay photos/gifs/videos or whatnot, I decided to add TWO here - one of movement and one of a battle. Here you go:

Showing up to late to the party. This time I'm jamming here in Osaka, Japan.
Summoning. FINAL-ly a good theme!
Good luck everyone. May this be the best Ludum Dare yet.
Hi everyone, my first ludum dare, I'm learning Pico-8 and making a game about moths and ecologies so I thought I'd share my progress! Moth summoning is still wip, but the moth flies around, collect things and sparkles! XD It's great seeing what everyone is making!

Merlin's tower holds the vital mana of the world and he tries to make people aware of this, but there are always those who contradict the basis of knowledge and at the end of it all there is always a kick-start to rumors.
After a while, some groups began to believe that what was kept in the tower was just the source of Merlin's dark magic

In Game Design, the first 80% of the work is easier than the second 80%.
In this game you will have to follow an ancient recipe book, in order to summon a fast food monster.

Undead Knight and his eternal friend Magician
Had to spend extra time on their looks but turned out better than expected. Hope we will make something playable to see them in action :)
If you see this days after here is Our game
