There are two countdowns, "compo ends" and "jam ends".
What is compo? is that when we are supposed to have submitted the game and then we have until the "jam ends" to rate other games?
Or do we have until "jam ends" to submit the games?
Building out some sprites before I actually start coding the game. It's a bold strategy, we'll see if it works out.

Sorry, I need to publish an updated zip. My index page is in quirks mode which seems to be breaking the whole game. Can I get my project back to unpublish? Will I be able to testdrive the integration with the preview button? Thanks.
Having a lot of fun making the sound effects for this! (Sadly you can't hear those ina gif...) Building a deck where you draw random attack-summons and use them to kill the summonsters. We're close to getting the random attack drawing in!

I uploaded a game but i cant see my game in the games section, what should i do?
Guess which village this references! :D Small game about a village with a great evil lurking beneath, and heroes venturing into the dungeon.
Very happy with the progress from day 1, but it's still a lot to do. Days 2 already saw a lot of progress on the battle part of the dungeon, i hope by the end of the day we are complete with monsters, all dungeon levels and complete combat mechanics. Ideally we have most of tomorrow to polish. So far, we seem to be on track for that.

This time I was prepared.
I picked up a no-code engine, even though I'm a dev, thinking it will allow me to put my ideas in shape more quickly, and so to focus on the gameplay.
I practiced on it, along with some other tools. And I was ready. Well, I thought I was...

I like my idea, but it was clearly to ambitious for the compo, at least for a beginer...
I'm not even sure to be done for the jam. Perhaps. If I manage to finish the gameplay today and spend all the day on the art and sound tommorow...
Or maybe I should find an easy-to-implement idea and make a fresh start for the jam...

Meanwhile, I'm procrastinating by any mean.

Besides completely unnecessary details like rain droplets on the floor and a lot of tweaking of lightning intervals I began implementing some actual gameplay today.

With help from Mixamo it takes the smallest time

I'm thinking it may already be a mistake to introduce choice in terms of the path you can take, but since everything is coming together I'm having trouble tamping down my ambitions. We'll see soon enough if this is a step in the wrong direction, but for now I'm flying high!
