a top down shooter where you run around summoning minions to fight for you. the score does not show up in the HTML5 version, but in the executeable, it works fine. if anyone has had experience with GameMaker doing this, please comment the solution. thanks!
Your last ritual has gone terribly wrong, and now a bunch of hellkittens are emerging from below. Serve them well, or be killed!

I don't know why, but it seems like with every game I make for Ludum Dare, I evolve backwards. But at least it's something!
You can check it out here! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/summoners-law
There's an HTML5 version as well as a Windows download.
Actually finished everything we wanted to do in the time we had available, although it's a bit short, it has a little polish, and it's definitely a vibe!
Night night, don't let Magical Michael bite ;)

Cut it close this time but Crimes Against Carrots is up! There's some things I wish I had got in but it was a fun scramble as my second time participating. (Seems I'm flagged as untrustworthy for links again, oh well!)

My game, Hellevator is now complete! I've had a real tangle with some nasty bugs today, but I've manage to get things to a point where I can run through it without hitting any obvious bugs.
Particularly pleased with how the graphics and sound turned out with this one!

We are almost finished with the project (if I could say so). No tests at all, probably imbalanced, but we'll see. Lol. The most huge pet project on Unity for me. Second project in our duo.

After a rough start with this theme and a long night of sleep-deprived coding, I was finally able to submit my game 15min before the deadline 😮💨
I'm proud to present Skelemancy, a puzzle game where you play as a necromancer trying to strategically grow your army of skeletons.

Please take note of two things: 1. The game's main heroine, Marie Claire, is silhouetted at first, because her actual appearance is heralded by a huge spoiler. 2. There isn't any sprite for Joseph Craig, the MC, yet, because I was pressed for time. But a future update will correct this and many more corners I had to cut to make it into the deadline.
From the beginning, I wanted to do something with moving several characters at once and connecting them with lines.
When I started prototyping my idea, I accidentally set the physics parameters wrong and my prototype figures started moving as if they were driving on ice.
Then something dawned on me and I thought what if the cultists had to perform the summoning ritual on ice.
This is how Cultists on ICE were created, a game of considerable skill XD

Our first ever game published! Uploaded with 12 minutes to spare!

We are so proud of what we all accomplished during those 72 hours ! :)
It's a cross between a rhythm game and a tower defense game, set in a post-apocalyptic universe where artificial intelligence has taken control of the entire world and eradicated humanity...
But not all humans have disappeared! You play the role of the last survivor, confronted by a gigantic AI boss who evaluates your musical performance to ensure your survival.
The boss will punish your mistakes by "summoning" his henchmen to eliminate you.
In this game, the drums are your weapon and your shield. Every note you play with precision strengthens your defenses, while wrong notes will summon more monsters in every wave of the game.
Keep up the rhythm, string together chords with precision and resist the constant attacks of the AI, all the while hoping to reach a level of performance sufficient to survive. At the end of each round, you can buy turrets to defend yourself against the monsters !
Don't forget to rate the game :D !
