JAM-Game "The Summoners Apprentice"

With 10 minutes to go we have send in our game "The Summoners Apprentice"

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/The-Summoners-Apprentice

Game Description

You are the apprentice of Aurelius, a master summoner. He left you in his shop to practice your skills and will send you an assignment every day until he thinks you are ready to be a master summoner yourself.

Check the blackboard. Here you will find a few words from Aurelius himself, and the job he received from one of his clients that he trusts you to complete for him.

Find the correct props and place them on the correct places in the summoning circle. Watch for what’s north. A compass is provided

Throw the correct runes on the ground in the circle. It doesn’t matter where in the circle, as long as it’s in it.

Use the spell book on the lectern to cast the correct spell .With your knowledge, bravoure and a bit of luck you will summon what was asked for. Or maybe not…

This is our LDJAM-55 submission

This game was made in less than 72 hours for the Ludum Dare challenge with the theme "Summoning" . It was the first project in godot, after we have left unity behind. We ran out of time to do a proper level design to hide the props, so it would be a better hide and seek puzzle. But all in all it was a great experience again.

Thanks for playing and please rate our game, we are happy to return the favour of course. Leave a comment if you liked it or if you found one of the many many bugs.

with kind regards Falien and Magus

Finally Done. Intoducing "Ramen: Beyond two balls"

RamenPosterBig.png

Seven minutes until the end, and at last, we've finished and released the game. Some issues remain unresolved, but we'll continue working on them. For now, we present to you our magnum opus, "Ramen: Between Two Balls," a dramatic tale of the war between two worlds. What do cats and spaghetti have in common? Find out in our game!

Barely in time !

I loved this one, we were able able to experiment on a few gadgets :D Zippo.gif -> this simple one is used all game long so we might do a desktopia version,

Let's get some sleep and discover what everyone made tomorrow !

Splinter Self

Pitch :

EN : Splinter Self tells the story of a dude in search of a good meal getting lost in a mysterious facility. He will have to summon « colorful » fragments of himself and co-operate with them to get out and gather loads of sausages !

Check out Sunrise game!

photoem5253554630569353106/emw (1).jpg

Sunrise is about the end of the world, where humanity invented the new artificial Suns. We play as Mark, who maintain the Sun in one small village.

We tried to create a game with the experience of exploration and navigation in the dark space. I hope you enjoy it!

We got there!

Had to cut a lot of corners at the end to make it, but that's the way it goes with jams.

ColorMon is here!

We made our first Ludum Dare submission! All assets were created during the duration of the jam except for the game engine Godot and the addon DialogueManager. We really enjoyed participating. I hope you like our monster collection game!

Itch.IO HTTP Requests

Is there a way to set up an Itch.IO page to allow HTTP requests from an embedded game? I set up a public leaderboard system only to find that the request is blocked by itch when I uploaded my web build. (Using Godot 4 if that matters)
