Can’t wait to make a better game than last year!

Base Code Quickie

Not much, but it’s something and what I’ve been toying with. Consider it declared:

I’m in!

Hi. So first time at Ludum Dare!

My goal is to finish a game and see what I can achieve with Unity3D in 2 days, and have fun, of course. Not very sure about what I’ll end up with, or if I will fail, but at least I’ll try. Not very used to Unity3D for rapid development, but it’s a good tool that I’ve been using several times. My weapons are:

  • GFX: Aseprite.
  • SFX: Bfxr.
  • MUSIC: Sunvox.
  • DEV: Unity3D.

Hope the better for all of you! Have fun! 😀

“Would you like to up your Ludum Dare Participation Streak to 3? (y/n)”

>y! So much y!

Yup, I’m in again! Same tools as last time – and the same base code as every time, though I might also use some of the more generic netcode of my previous LD game.

Tools:

  • Engine: Unity3D
  • Art: I might use RageSpline and glow effects, or stylized filtering, or fun ANSII symbols ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ (that has never been more appropriate then now, I guess) – or, well, crude handdrawn images made with my trusty Wacom Bamboo. (Damn, it’s been foreeever since I did that.)
  • Sfx: My mouth + a microphone + Audacity. Maybe bfxr or jfxr.
  • Music: Abundant Music for generation – and for MIDI rendering either GXSCC (chiptunes-like) or SynthFont (“normal” instruments)
  • Goals: High innovation and/or fun!
  • Motivation: HELL YES!

I’m Sick, but I’m In!

This will be my sixth LD. I have produced four games out of five attempts.

Tools:

Game Maker Studio

Photoshop

Ableton Live

bfxr

Jam is quite nice

Hmm… Jam…

I’ll be taking part in the Jam with a friend; hopefully I will be able to make something worth while (or rather something at all) this time!

We’ll make something awesome, I’m sure.

I’m IN

Yep, I’m making a comeback, sorta! This time, I’m going to try and make something for the jam, and it’s going to be playable on PS3 and PS4! To do this, I’m going to be making my entry in LittleBigPlanet 3!

Brainstorming setup

So, I usually stick with the vanilla text document for brainstorming, but this time around I’ve decided to have a bit of fun. I found these massive sheets of paper in my room, and I’ve taped 6 of them to my wall to create a whiteboard sort of thing, and gathered some markers and some post-it notes. Just because why not?

Nap Time!

OK, I filtered the milk and set it to chill, stretched the mozzarella and put it in the molds, washed and boxed all the eggs, vacuum sealed the cheddar we made yesterday and set it to age, cleaned up the kitchen, and stoked the fire…now I’m going to nap until it’s time to kick this thing off.

Good luck, everyone!

I’m in!

I haven’t done one in awhile, but I’m going to attempt it again!

I’ll be using Unity, programming in C#, art will be with paint.net, sound will be sfxr.

Good luck everyone!

in.

Flash as usual. Wheeeeee

I’m In!

Well, it’s been a year since I started participating in Ludum Dare, and I’m just as excited now as I was then! I’m looking forward to another round of great games from everybody.

I’ll be using Unity again, almost certainly for a Jam entry. On top of that I’ve got Photoshop, Audacity, Blender, sfxr, and FL Studio at the ready.

Good luck, and I’ll see you all on the other side!

I’m In

See here for the list of tools and stuff I’m using. Not that you’re likely to be interested.

I’m in?! I’m in.

This LD marks my third year. It’s been a hell of a time looking back. Learning to code properly has completely changed my life in some way or another.

I’m teaming up an awesome friend for this, and I’m quite happy we’ll do something amazing.
Code/Engine:  C#, Unity3D.

Musics: Logic Pro X. Audacity

Art: Whatever my friend uses.
I have a lot of snacks, energydrink, and time. So I really hope I do well this time. I’d like it if I got into the top 100 in some category, although with the ever increasing number of participants it gets harder and harder!

Good luck to every other participant, and make awesome games!

Last minute I’m in.

Unfortunately  I work sunday so I only have 24 hours. Using java, bfxr and gimp.

No time for compo :(((

I hate when studying interrupt making games :(
But with overloadedSaturady and free Monday i can participate with my friend in jam! 😉

Our toolset:

– Cocos2d-x
– Pyxel
– sfxr
– Audacity

Good luck guys!

I know the feel. I’m doing the same thing — just participating in the Jam in between doing school work…

Getting in there

Unity, C#, Sonar, Photoshop, and my body.

I’m in for my first Ludum Dare.

Tools: Unity, Visual Studio, sfxr, Paint.Net and maybe Blender
