LD31 December 5–8, 2014

I’m in!

I will be using my own game engine which can be found here https://github.com/S2DGames/S2D. It is a 2d physics based engine written in C++ and uses SFML and Box2D.

I’m in! And I’m not alone!

This LD I’m working with my friend Jeff. I’ll do the art and he will do the code and we will both work on the other parts together. Here is the tools I know that we are using.

Unreal Engine 4
Visual Studio
Blender
Krita
FL Studio
Musagi
Audacity

We may add some other stuff to this like SFXR based on the design of the game but that’s the gist of it!

Back Again

Going in with:
– Unity3D
– Maya
– Photoshop
– Audacity

Planning to try and make something simple with a lot of polish. We’ll see if that actually happens 😉

Good luck y’all

Hoping to be in

I’m hoping to be able to take part this weekend but there’s a few things that might stop me.

Toolset:

Engine/Language: Either Unity or Java (depending on idea)

Graphics: Blender, Photoshop

Sound: My mouth and Adobe Audition

Looking forward to finding out the theme!

I’m in, after all!

Nevermind previous post, I’m in! I will have time to do some development after all!

Engine: HTML5 with JavaScript and Notepad++ as text editor. I’m not going to use any third-party libs.
Graphics: paint.NET. No changes there
Sounds: bfxr. No changes there either
Music: Probably none. I still can’t do anything related to music, you know…
Streaming: Nope. My PC/Internet can’t handle this well, after all. ;_;

Idea? I’ve got one, but I want to see how it goes with the theme first… So I’m going to wait with sharing it for now.
Also, I’m probably going to sleep immediately after finding it out, since it’s going to be like 3 AM here… And I not only need sleep, but love it! <3 That should do well for ideas too.

(also, I’m going to take coolness score more seriously this time, just saying)

Participating for the fourth time

An year passed since my last participation – I was jamming last December and almost made it into Top 100 for innovation with my entry Burning Fridges

This time I’ll rise the bar entering the Compo (where my results are worse than average). Here are my shared AS3 scripts:  https://github.com/foumart/LudumDare

Hopefully will be able to squeeze something if I find the theme appealing, otherwise will search to join a team looking for an artist (as I was drawing a lot with my bamboo recently)

Good luck to everyone participating !

Good luck to the Snowman too, as he will certainly face tremendous melting, if chosen  :p

Base Code

I’m not even sure I have to do this anymore, seeing as most of this work is publicly available already, but I like doing it. Here’s what I’m starting with.

There are a lot of LÖVE libraries for a lot of different things. Like I always say, if AS3 users can start with all the stuff Flixel has, then why shouldn’t I?

Also, tradition: Good luck to all the first-timers out there. You’re what keeps this event so fresh. Remember to finish.

I’m in and pumped!

I’m ready for LD31 and will be doing the compo because I’m terrible at art and can’t do it under 48 hours.

Engine: Java and LibGDX
Graphics: My friend and his MS Paint magic
Sounds: *fxr because I can’t decide which
Music: Abundant-music 😀
Streaming: I wish but I can’t get it to run on my PC ;(

Check for my game 😀

I’m in too!

My last LD game was simple, but I don’t want that to change with this one. My goal is to make something simple and polished this time around.

My tools:

Unity Pro 4.6

Blender (If necessary)

Paint.Net

Audacity

in

The game might be small. It might have 5 minutes of gameplay. But it will exist.

It might be a text adventure. Something with a story.

Hoping for the snowman so it can be heavy with emoji/unicode silly.

Tools: Javascript & npm.

I’m ready!

I have my tools ready to go.

For coding:

  • Adobe Air 16
  • Citrus Engine (Starling, Feathers, Dragon Bones and Nape)
  • IntelliJ IDEA 14

For art:

  • Photoshop
  • Texture Packer
  • Physics Editor
  • Glyph Designer

Im in!

Yay Ludum Dare! I’m in!

Been a long time. I just installed unity 4.6 so I might try that.

No idea if I’ll risk trying 3d with blender considering I’ve never done it or just stay 2d.

Time will tell…

Happy LUDUM DARE!

I’m in

I’m back for my 5th (or so) attempt.

I’ll be using Unity, C#, Photoshop, Mischief, and either Silo or Spriter

I’m in

Engine: Construct 2

Graphics: Photoshop

Sound: bfxr/sfxr

Music: FL Studio

3rd times the charm

All ready to go 😛

Unity c#

Flash – graphics/animation

A Rusty “In!” strikes you for 12 points of disease damage!

Very very rusty! I think I finished 5 times in a row and then failed to finish 5 times in a row, so will this be the streak breaker?

Using my usual set of tools: 3DSMax, Quake Army Knife, 3DCoat, Paint.Net, SFXR/Audacity, Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate with SharpDX, Tetley, Renderdoc, and the CBFG font tool.

I spent almost all of my time last time trying to remember how to do basic stuff like load a level or a static object. This time I’m including a test program that just sets the basic stuff up so I can copypasta all the mundane stuff and get to the game code (I hope).

Here’s my libs.

And my past work:

Well, for the first time, I’m in.. I guess ?

I don’t know how any of this works, but I think it could be cool to try today, don’t ya’ think ?

So, today, I guess I would be using :

– Unity Pro (thanks to LudumDare :D) / C#

– Photoshop

– Maybe a bit of Adobe Audition

– Possibly Caustic 3, depend on the theme.

Have a nice jam 😀
