I’m in again.

Depending on my idea, I’ll use either Unity3D
or my custom 2D Engine.

I’m using a graphic tablet and will hopefully be able to create acceptable art this time 😀

De Gaulle reporting for duty!

I’ll be using:

  • Engine : Game Maker Studio
  • Graphics :Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Music : FL Studio (will try to make some actual music this time)

Je vous ai compris ! 😉 Bonne chance !

I plan to participate

I counted a bunch of the tools that people plan to use to see which are the most common. You can see the list of popular tools at http://qr.ae/L14TY

I’ve participated in a few Ludum Dares before, but not very consistently. I’m pretty excited about being able to do it again.

Previously I’ve mostly used Love2D, but I think I’m going to use Unity (2D) this time and develop with Web or Mobile in mind. The HTML5 export seems pretty cool.

I also use Paint.NET, BFXR, and Audacity. Music is still a mystery to me, so I’ll try to make enough sound effects to prevent the game from feeling silent.

  • LabChirp
  • Audacity
  • Bosca Ceoil

I’m in (Third time)

Hi everybody from spain, I’m in here again. Let’s have fun together!!

I will be using:

Engine: Construct 2, or Unreal. I left libgdx behind.

Graphics: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Sound and music: sfxr and http://www.abundant-music.com/ . Maybe I can try something further.

GL & HF newcomers!

I’m in! (I hope)

Pending a go/no-go for a visit by relatives this weekend, I should be in.

No idea what technologies I’ll be using, so the game will no doubt be simple. Perhaps something JS flavoured this time.

TileCraft: an open-source multi-platform 2.5D modeling tool

**EDIT** I’ve changed the post time (hope it is not a problem for the admins) because quite a few people downloaded the ALPHA8. I am sorry it was bugged and it could not run at all. I’ve just released a fixed ALPHA9 (tested on all platforms).

Hello guys,

I’ve made a tool based on LGModeler (by AngryOctopus) which was based on a lostgarden.com challenge.

The software is still alpha but it works (I’ve been working hard and fast to make it works for this ludum dare).

Test it and see if it can be a good companion for this Ludum Dare.

The TileCraft github project (star it if you like it!)

A quick guide to use the tool

Download for Windows, Mac and Linux

Happy coding and good luck for LD#32 😉

  • Engine = Unity 5 targeting WebGL + Visual Studio C# + UnityVS
  • Graphics = Gimp + Inkscape + Blender3D
  • Sound = Bfxr + Audacity
  • and probably, Music = Abundant Music

First LD, I’m In ^_^

This will be my first LD,

Can’t wait for it ^_^

Hope i can come up with something fun <3

Best of luck to you. Remember to have fun!

First “real” attempt at LD

Hi everyone, just another little developer hoping to make a little something. This time I swear I won’t get down by my own programmer art and I’ll just embrace it, for the best or the worst 😀

We’re on the same boat! We can do this!

Well, it’s six now

I guess it’s that time of the year, once again!

Hello darers,
this is my sixth time, it has not been a good time lately inspiration-wise, so i hope Ludum Dare will help me once again unlock my full potential and reach my final form. Wait, what?
Anyways, i liked the last experiment where i took a friend and we jammed together with self-imposed compo rules except for being in two, and this little game was the result of that. So i decided to do that again, with a different friend and former co-worker named @zlatancld.

Regarding tech, the usual stuff:

  • Unity 3D
  • 3DS Max (if needed)
  • Photoshop
  • Cubase (maybe)
  • sfxr

so i hope we will have fun and i hope that all of you will check out and enjoy our game.

Happy jammin’ everybody,
SkyWolf.

I ~hope~ I am in

It really depends, since I just moved and don’t have internet at home yet. ISP technician is scheduled to come in tomorrow, but you never know…

If I can participate I will most likely use:

  • GameMaker: Studio, maybe Unity
  • GIMP, Aseprite
  • SFXR
  • Famitracker

Hope to join you guys on Saturday (3am German time yaaaay!). If I finish successfully, It’ll be the fourth game I contribute to LD.

I’m in

Hi!

I’m in again!

This time I will do a browser based game, most likely with phaser and javascript.

Have fun everyone!

I’m in!

Hey guys,

I will be joining Ludum Dare 32! My first ludum dare went quite well, but my game only had one mechanic and I spent too much time trying to import models with Three.js. This time, I’ll try to make something a little more ambitious.

Tools

I will probably use Unity. Although I might use Three.js like last time or some other Javascript library like Phaser. I will use Paint.net and/or Photoshop for graphics and I will use Blender for modelling if necessary(although I haven’t used it since last jam and have most likely completely forgotten how to use it). For audio I will use bfxr, audiosauna or maybe something else if I can find some time to learn it.

Happy jamming!

We are in!

Me and my brother will participate in the Ludum Dare once again! Our skills with Unreal 4 has been improved since the last Ludum Dare, so hopefully we’ll be able to pull something off. This should be an exciting Ludum Dare either way, so good luck to you all! :)

Platform: Windows
Game Engine: Unreal Engine 4
Graphics: Paint, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Blender

<- Characters of my previous Ludum Dare entries! Perhaps you recognize some of them?
