I am in!
This’ll be my last LD as a teenager *cries on the floor*, and my third LD. I’ll be updating progress on my twitter over the weekend so feel free to follow me in the link next to my name! Good luck everyone!

Saucy Games here, reporting for another game jam. This is our second go at it and we’re very excited for LD34.
Very excited. Probably gonna be tweeting about it and stuff. Awww yis.
I’m in for my second dare,
Tools,
Haxe (js with my own engine) (editplus 3 as my editor)
paint.net
boscaCeoil
Second time around…
Like last time, I’ll be using C++ and SFML for my game.
And I’ll probably just use public domain audio and textures again.
Hi, I’m Sam and this is my second Ludum Dare compo declaration. I’m going to try to one-up my last entry by focusing more on the gameplay.
I’ll be programming using Haxe with three.js externs like before. The base code is a very-work-in-progress collection of Haxe utilities, algorithms and HaxeFlixel extensions called Lycan. I also hope to build on this sky shader editor I made in the aftermath of the last compo.
This is going to be a good one. I’m already looking forward to playing people’s entries and exchanging feedback. Best of luck to all!

This is my first Ludum Dare and I’m excited. I am not sure if I am using Python and PyGame, or Godot and GDScript (Godot’s scripting language, It’s a lot like Python).
I plan on using:
Lately, I was busy with my job, so in terms of indie dev, I’ve made either nothing, or a bunch of crap.
But that’s about to change this Ludum Dare!
Ok, this is my 4th ludum dare im competing in. here are some stats:
completed: I have completed 2 out of the 3 i participated in.
engine: libgdx again(4th time)
graphics: Paint.net
graphics theme: i was going to go for a monocolor pixel type game.
statistically I have not done that bad in past compos, my highest catagory was graphics of my last game which was something like 600th, so not horrible but definitly not too good.
hopefully no physics engine, but you never know!
GOALS:
Get a good timelapse of my time working!
complete the game!
have a nice art theme!
Stretch: have sound effects and music!
// Standard stuff goes here
for (int i = 0; i < ∞; i++) System.out.println(“I\’m in!”);
Now seriously, I’m in for my 3rd Ludum Dare! I haven’t done any competitions since last year at this time but instead been working on a solo game. I feel like my skills have improved not only in coding but in game design overall. I’m hoping for my best LD yet!
Language: Java
Libraries: LWJGL 3 (No engine, writing backend the first night)
IDE: Intellij (I like the way it integrates with git)
Graphics: Photoshop
Audio: FakeMusicGenerator
This is my Second Ludum Dare
I am using:
Good Luck Everyone!!!
Well, I’m in for yet another Ludum Dare My tools this time around will be the same as last time (and many events before):
Language: Haxe
Engine/Framework: HaxePunk
Graphics: GIMP
Sound: sfxr/autotracker
Energy: Coffee
Remember to vote for “Build your weapon” for the theme!
Let’s make this the greatest game jam of our lives!
Hey, guys. I’m in, obviously. Here are my tools.
Language: Java
IDE: Eclipse
Library: SFML port to Java
Graphics(lol): Paint.NET
Music(lol): sfrx
Excited and hoping to have fun! Wishing you people well!
Been a while since I attempted one of these!
I was going to do something in Rust + Piston, but had some problems getting it all working nicely, and decided to try something else. So, yesterday I spent some time learning the Phaser engine instead. I’ve never used it before, so I’m trying to figure out all the boilerplate/boring stuff ahead of time
My tools this time round:
OS: OSX / Windows 10
Engine: Phaser
Language: TypeScript
IDE: Visual Studio Code
Browser: Chrome
Graphics: Pixelmator (+ others maybe)
Sound: Ableton Live + sweet, sweet, hardware synths
Not sure how to get a timelapse thing going on OSX, I might look into it.

This will be my sixth time and I’m looking forwards to it! Planning to make a smaller game this time around, as I feel my ideas have been too large for me to accomplish in the time frame. As for my tools, I’ll be using Unity (Game Engine), Visual Studio (IDE), Beepbox (Music, some SFX), Chiptone (Other SFX), Paint.NET (Art) and Gimp (Art extras)
As always, I may end up using (and fixing up) some old Unity platformer code I wrote a while back – feel free to use it for your stuff if you want.
Good luck!
Usually this post shows up some time after the theme has been announced, but who am I kidding, right?
Of course I’m going to participate!
So the tools I’m going to use this time are:
https://github.com/AlexMartinelle/PicoEngine
The Pico Engine is a mini-game engine I made during the Ludum Dare 33, to avoid having to redo all the boiler plate code every time I decide I want to make a C++ based LD project
It’s free and opensource so anyone can use it.
Code:Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition
Gfx: Gimp, Wings 3D, Blender
Sound (If I find the time to add sound-support to Pico-Engine): Audacity, Bfxr and LMMS.
Good luck everyone!
I’m in for the compo. I will be using GameMaker Studio supported by photoshop for graphics, sfxr for sounds, and if anyone has good suggestions for a free audio tracker, I’d appreciate it. My old version of Reason doesn’t work for me anymore.
So haven’t said I’m in, but I’m in!
Once again my tools will be:
– Gamer Maker Studio
– Photoshop
– Fl Studio
– Other programs that may be required will be used. (Like audacity, bfxr, and such)
3rd Time in, hoping for a good one. Since the last Ludum Dare I was able to release a game on Google Play! So glad I have been doing these Ludum Dare’s, and glad they are there, as the help me develop my ability and understanding. Not to mention the motivation and drive that says, “Hey, you can actually finish a game. Well done.”

[My Release since last Ludum Dare]
Ludum Dare 32 highest rating was Mood. Coming #158 with a rating of 3.52.
Ludum Dare 33 highest rating was Theme. Coming #5 with a rating of 4.41. (Quite stoked with that!)

Previous Ludum Dare Entries (32, 33)
Ludum Dare 34 …. Well, hopefully try and Overall in the top 100, that would be cool.
Hope everybody does an awesome job! I shall try harder this time round to vote and play more of your awesome games.
I’m definitely in, not sure about going for the jam or the compo though.
My tools:
Engine: Unity/C#
Graphics: Photoshop/Illustrator
Audio: Music Jam Maker
Food: I’ll go full vegan if I can
Sleep: A teaspoon
