Calling it a Day
Sadly I wasn’t able to finish my game this time around. Feeling totally demoralised.
Hope everyone else has enjoyed Ludum Dare more than I have this time around

Almost there

Once again we’ve seen too big and we won’t get the perfect picture we envisioned with only 2h30 left, but hopefully our little game will be fun to play 😀
We’ll probably continue working on it later on as we have a lot of ideas that we couldn’t include in time !
It’s time to add the last details to make a full gameloop playable, playtest and try to eliminate most of the bugs, and hope people find it fun, because we had a lot of it making it !
Submitted!

Submitted my first game ever, complete with programmer art, default GUI and mindless gameplay. Fun for the whole family!
Practice makes the master
‘Practice makes the master’… on something. I have few experience with Phaser, but now I have more experience. For different reasons I am tired and the game is far to be finished. At least here a snapshot. To use differents pieces you must solve them first. Once the game is finished I am going to publish it here (with source code).
First is my health. My game is not published, but now I have experience for the next game jam (Familiar Game Jam in Spain).
I don’t see this as a failure. Plus, I saw a few things that I can help with Phaser.
Take care and publish your games = ‘ ^ ‘ =
Aaaaand it’s Done!
I’m so friking happy! Really. I don’t know if is a good or a bad game, if you are gonna like it or not. But I made! Alone! By myself! Look at that, Past Matla! Muahahaha
Just want to say that this was a awesome experience and I enjoy it a lot. I learn a huuuuuuuuuuuge things and I see a LOT of tutorials. And it’s done now
I’ll apreciate every comment that could help me to improve in the future.
“Save Her” is a narrative game where you are a soldier in war and you have to use an old radio to help a woman who is running away from prision. If I had more time and experience I would like to made this game like “Papers, please”, checking a lot of information in several media and thinking about wich one is the best option. But atm this is all I can do.
Hope you enjoy it! ^^

Time to Relax Now!
What an intense run to get all this working! But absolutely worth it.
I learnt a lot about Subtractive game design about Game Maker, about Aseprite/pixel art animations, about flying pyramids, about… myself. I’m too old for this!
The theme of Egyptians is the most recurrent one I believe. Well, it doesn’t matter cause it’s done! Pyramid is what you need.

We finished!

We’ve finally finished! I’ll post a full post mortem tomorrow when I’m less sleepy but the highlights are that despite real life interruptions we made a simple platforming game with pressure plates. I’m quite happy with it as a first game, despite it being a little unimaginative.
If you could spare a few minutes and give me some feedback that would make me very happy, It’s playable in browser!
Burning Wings
I’m excited to announce that our dev team, Reverie in G, is has finished making our first LD project, Burning Wings!

It’s a relatively simple side-scroller in which you play as Icarus, flying to freedom after being imprisoned in Crete with his father, Daedelus. We had a few developmental hiccups along the way, but I’m really happy with what we have so far. Our first LD has been a great experience and I hope to make something even better next time around!

Our source code can be found in our Bit Bucket Repository
My First LD Compo!
Happy to have participated in my first ever Ludum Dare! I’ll definitely be back for more in the future.
Give Petroglyph a try and leave your comments.

Play it here, complete with animated tutorials and shiz!
Finally done!
Alright so we finished our game in a playable state. For a while there we didnt think we would make it doing a multiplayer game and all was trickier then expected…

We’re done!
This was a bit of a test-LD for our team to see what we could make without much coding knowledge. The result was a little block breaker game that our 3D-artist-turned-programmer put together. It may not be a ground-breaking game but I think it turned out pretty fun. I hope some of you too will enjoy this little tale about a jealous potter called Sutakh who once found an ancient rock!

You can find it here. Will fix the links as soon as I can (I really need to sleep now).

First Ludum Dare completed!
What an experience!
This has been my first Ludum Dare and i’m very satisfied with the result. You can check here:

PRAISE DE SUN!

Last 2 hours T.T
But we can DO IT!!
Updated w Music and Rotation
I added music and rotation of
grabbed objects to my game.
Rotation is a bit weird but
I wanted building to be difficult.

I did it! My first Ludum Dare!
I can’t believe I managed to get it finished. All those headaches and cups of tea were worthwhile.
It’s not incredible, but it sure is a game!

Done!
Well, okay, “done” is not even remotely a word I’d use to describe the game, but I’ve finished a playable version complete with some menus, a campaign (of sorts) and burning ships.

I hope people have had lots of fun!
