Finally! I close the game, it have some bugs, like any kind of game done in this time but is playable and complete 😀

The game have an intro, a tutorial, and the big game where you have to survive and destroy all the aliens to finally see the winners screen 😉 The dinosaurs that you may find are random each time you start the game, but since there is only 1 enemy, it’s easy to beat with any combination.

I started the gamedesign searching for a new kind of tower defense, while experiencing with construct 2 options, i found that this combination of behaviours and options are quite fun, each dinosaur ended with its own personality and thats something i loved. Also the graphics that Hector created are lovely and fits perfect with the game intention.

FIRST : I have decided to be part of this jam only 13 hours before the end.

AnSythn Technology is a kind of Flash sampler using retro-sounds.
You can choose beteween 3 synthetizers, a drum-machine and some pre-recorded beats.

I made the sounds with Massive and Ableton Live.
Using Flash CC for code and Photoshop for graphism.

Finally finished! Our small group of friends had a lot of fun at our first Ludem Dare , we hope you enjoy our metroid-vania like game.

Welcome To Arch Journey! This is Our first Ludum Dare and we’ve surely taken the wrong path. It’s sad, but we couldn’t achieve what we have planned. You can see about 5% of total game.

Arch Journey is a game about 3 archeologists who went to a new unusual archeological site. When they arrived an earthquake happened. They fell down into an ancient catacomb. But only one survived. Chose your hero and help him escape this place and return home. You can chose between 3 tools (sword, hammer and bow) representing each of archeologists. Depending on this choice you’ll have different paths of progressing through the game. In this game you’ll have to solve puzzles, defend yourself from the ancients, find ancient spheres to improve your tool and finaly escape.

Here is where your journey begins.

And to the sad part.. What did we implement.
One level, one hero (with sword), a couple of easy puzzles, one ancient sphere to improve your sword mastery, a couple of dummy enemies (no AI, sorry guys =( ). At least we got a solid dungeon atmosphere. It’s a bit more of a prototype than actual game, but it’s still was a lot of fun. We hope you’ll enjoy our game. Leave feedback and have a nice day! GL.

Although I did have ideas of ways I could expand the game, I’m happy with what I’ve managed to create in the timeframe.

This is our first Ludum Dare ever, we’re pretty happy of the result of our work, even if we’re quite tired and even if the last hours have been harsh !

Anyway, we hope you’ll enjoy this little Arcade/Puzzle (?) game. We wanted to make some adjustement, like a menu, or a more balanced gameplay but time and tiredness got us before !

Hi everyone ! Our entry, Da Vinci Corde, is out !

Da Vinci Corde is a puzzle game in which you, the player, have to complete Leonardo’s inventions by pulling and tying ropes. Will you be able to match the inventor’s genius?

This was my girlfriend’s first game jam (and first game at all in fact). She did the art, I did the code. For a first timer, the result is pretty decent don’t you think ? 😉
